This place was HORRIBLE like we walked in and sat down and the people never acknowledged our existence the inside was just plain... creepy we said heyy to the person at the counter and smiled and he just looked at us and went back to talking to other peopleafter like 15 minutes of sitting there we ended up just getting up and leaving. This place is more like a local home town bar. Very open space three bars. Never had to wait for a drink. Sam the bartender was... very friendly and talked to us like she had known us for years. Definitely will be back here! Read more

My husband and I visited Gulf Shores for the first time. All the other local bars close between 9 and 10. So we came across Mud... Bugs open til 3am. Karaoke inside. Live music out. Friendly bar crew. Eclectic atmosphere. Great little dive bar. Read more

Absolutely no food, drinks only. Although website still showed food. I went about starving expecting drinks and bar food at... least. A cover was 5.00 pp. Drink were reasonable in price and wasn't just juice only. Only problem I was starving so we had toleave after about 30min couldn't make it to karaoke, had to find food. I?ve come to this bar SEVERAL times. It had become my regular spot. But Last night is my absolute last time coming. The... bartenders in the back bar were all rude except Zaddy. Particularly the other male bartender. In fact, Zaddy was apologizingrepeatedly for their behavior. I?ve NEVER seen bartenders openly screaming at customers and making fun of them over and overagain. How gross. Furthermore, I?m pretty sure my last drink was laced. I was completely fine one second, and literallyparalyzed the next without having consumed enough alcohol to be drunk. We didn't realize this was a gay bar when we picked it, but the regulars were welcoming and we had a good time. The staff are... great, warm atmosphere and strong drinks. We'll definitely be recommending this to our LGBTQ friends. Read more
