Decent place. Be prepared for a long wait. They do have shopping available nearby while you wait which is nice. I had the crab... stuffed flounder, which was decent, however the crab was not to be found. The crab cake stuffing was the only presence in thedish but had zero flavor of crab or any visual evidence either. The flounder was good which made it a decent dish still. Thecheese grits were great and the reds beans and rice were also worth it. Definitely a tourist trap. The oysters were probably the best item we had off the menu. The shrimp scampi was greasy and... tasteless. None of the shrimp are cleaned by the way. The stuffed crab was just that, all the meat is scraped out andreplaced with a bread stuffing with no meat. We also ordered the crab stuffed shrimp. 5 small shrimp, 2 had crab on top andthe other three were plied high with creamed spinach, no crab. You can order the salad bar instead of a side for an additionalcharge. That and the oysters were probably all I can recommend. Read more

Still a great place to eat and shop. We had been here in the 90s and it was the same great food as back then. The shrimp au... gratin is quite good, but very rich. If you are lucky someone will feed the fish and you can watch as most tables are by thewindows. Give them a try! Read more

We have been going to the Oyster House for years and years! This is our favorite little spot whenever we are in the area. We do... date nights or family outings and it?s always a great time!! This is the best place hands down. The waitstaff was super friendly, helpful and funny. The menu has something for everyone... and we tried a little bit of everything. Quality has gone downhill. We used to love eating here but the food was not nearly as good as it was a few years ago. The only... thing that was really good was the hush puppies. Fabulous service and food. We had 12 in our party and Daniela did not miss a beat! The food was brought out in a timely fashion... and everyone loved the food. Charred oysters were the star of the show. Wish we had ordered more. We had an amazing hostess/waitress. ?? Most of the food was... pretty good. Salad bar was great. Shrimp was a little bland and rubbery. Felt like the food could have been seasoned a littlemore. Soft shell crab was a little disappointing. The crab cakes were good.
