Their food is good. It?s bit pricey but what isn?t by the beach right? ???? I personally love their waffles, so fluffy and... texture is just right! The service is very good, such a friendly stuff which definitely adds to the quality of therestaurant. Fried pickles? I give 5 out of 5 on their fried pickles. I had same item at different restaurants throughout countrybut this was the best one I had. Worth a try! Read more
My kids saw this place as we were driving into Gulf Shores and couldn't wait to visit. This 50's themed diner didn't... disappoint. From the decor to the staff to the food and service, everything was excellent. 50s cars and neon lights greet youfrom outside, and inside was just as cool. We're they busy? Yes, slammed busy and we still received a table in a timely mannerand the service was on point! The food is very large portions and the pricing isn't bad considering the portion size. Thatbeing said, if you have kids, they may want to share or get a take home box! We would definitely visit this diner again, nexttime at gulf shores. Read more
Had a delicious Sunliner Burger with a Gluten free sesame bun. Waitress and staff were very helpful answering questions. As of... today the hash-browns are cooked on the meat only griddle so they were also safe. Kids loved their shakes with waffles, but theydon?t have Gluten issues. Very reasonably priced kids meals also. Will be back for another burger before we leave! Forgot totake pictures of food before eating, we were hungry and it looked and smelled good. Read more
This place is super neat inside! Total 50?s vibe, from the music, to the outfits. Even the menu look like a newspaper & you get... to take it home! But honestly, the food wasn?t what I was hoping for. Th fried green tomatoes were 10.99 but only got 4. Myhamburger was just a regular old burger with fries??.for 14.99? It was good but little pricey. Was hoping for amazing food basedoff of the reviews & the theme but did not get that. Read more
Love the exterior and interior of this place. Very very super friendly staff I have seen in a long time. So I had an Irish cream... hot coffee and The Avocado Benedict. Delicious especially with the sauce. Which I was concerned on me getting it on there. Thewaitress we had made sure they put it on the side and when I did try it, it made the flavors blend perfectly together. Read more
Our first trip to the diner was so fun! This place is a throw back to a simpler time! Our waitress, Suga, looked and acted the... part! She is also a very talented singer! I got the club and it was cooked to perfection. The candied bacon was a yummysurprise. Husband got the Reuben and he said it was one of the best he's ever eaten. Great experience all around! My daughter and I tried to have breakfast on our last day of vacation. Showed up 15 minutes before opening so we were some of... the first people in. When sitting down I noticed that the table had not been wiped well, but gave them the benefit of the doubtand just cleanup the leftover syrup on the table. Shortly after we opened our silverware only to find it was dirty too. Weordered after a short delay with no concerns. After waiting they dropped off one of our two orders, but with the wrong sides.After 5-10 minutes the waitress (who had been MIA) came over and mentioned that the order was wrong. After some more time theybrought the correct sides, but still hadn?t brought my meal. After 5-10 more minutes they bring the entirely wrong meal to me.By this time we are 30-40 minutes into things and my daughter is mostly done eating. After another delay the waitress camearound and I ended up just canceling my meal all together. They did apologize and did not charge us for the meal we did get.That said, our overall experience was abysmal. Dirty facility and poor quality service with workers who in general have a vibeof not wanting to be there at all. Not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend it at all. Read more
Super fun - and DELICIOUS - diner! Loved the vibe and the old school cars - several cute places to take pics and eat some great*... food! Staff were very polite and the manager on duty the night we went was upbeat and kept things running smoothly. She wasgreat! Plus+ they have different "souvenirs" for the restaurant too! Shirts, mugs, magnets, postcards, socks... Surely I'mforgetting some, too! Lol. Read more
