We tried to visit the GS location last year with kiddo, but it was a 2.5 hour wait on a weeknight in August. So we were glad to... see there was one in Fort Morgan to visit this trip. It was just hubs and I. After reading reviews, we went in with low hopes?We went on a Wednesday at 3p. It wasn?t busy at all. View was great. Waiter was minimally attentive, not chipper at all. Youcould tell they hated life. Tuna dip was good for an appetizer. Then I noticed that there was food stuck in the cracks of ourtable and my appetite was pretty much gone thinking how many times the table had been wiped down and the cracks left with food. I had already ordered Mexican Garbage for my meal, and hubs got the shrimp tacos. I didn?t mention the stuck food till after weate so I didn?t cause him disgust. He liked his tacos. The nachos weren?t bad. I took them back to our camper and warmed themup in the air fryer the next day and they were good. Sweet tea was good. Food is so so for the price. The selection islimited. Real fresh fish is not this place. Mostly fried. Add fries and fried hush puppies to it = more fried from frozen food.Meh? not impressed. I wouldn?t return. Read more
Great Value and fantastic local dive off the beaten trail at FT Morgan away from the actual Gulf Shores scene. Worth the drive... to avoid the crazy at Gulf Shores. We arrived at 5ish and our party of 11 were sat at two tables (max party size of 6) within25 minutes. The kids relegated to their own table and the servers were fantastic with them. Food quality is good, greatportions, and ambiance on par with what you expect on the Gulf. We will be back next year and changing our annual dinnerpilgrimage at Gulf Shores! Read more
We arrived at 4:45 PM. There was a 45 minute wait, which wasn?t bad. Our server was attentive and our food came out in a timely... manner and was very good. Be aware that there?s a 3.5% card fee added to your bill if you don?t pay in cash. Read more

Caught my first ???? on my 1st fishing trip!!! Nice Red Snapper!! It was a hard ride out there (1hr+ 1/2). Far from smooth... sailing ??!! But I had a great time!!! Thanks to our captain and my personal helper, my husband Jamey!! Couldn't have been braveenough w/out him!! Read more
Food was 'decent', drinks were "fine". Server was very nice and service was prompt. Nachos were a decent value at $16 which... counteracted the cute 'bowl' of Seafood Gumbo was maybe a 'cup' worth for just under $10 with a shrimp in it, but with a$h!t-ton of rice in it; maybe they were running out. It was tasty though! Again, its 'fine', and I added a star for the oceanview. We'll be back since the food's not bad, and its got a killer view. EDITED 3/25/2022 We went to Thursday night Karaokeand had 4 dynamite tappers and a fist full of waters. I got my bar tab and it was only $16. So after tip for thesweet/attentive bar tender, and super accommodating/well organized karaoke dude, with the golden pipes, we had a great eveningfor $30! What a great place! We were visiting the area for your 23rd wedding anniversary weekend and had the most amazing meal. My... husband called ahead and told Him, the manager that it was our special day, Jim came to our table and greeted/ congratulated usright away. Our server Daniel was awesome, he was super friendly, took time to talk and laugh with us. He checked on is often.We had Gator Bites & Firecracker Shrimp to start with, then I had the Shrimp Platter and hubby had a combo platter (fish andshrimp). After our meal Daniel brought us free dessert (peanut butter pie). Everything was excellent and we will definitely beback! Read more
We went to Tacky Jacks with the family ???? for dinner on a Monday night. We were there the night before for our daughter's... wedding. Everything we ordered from the appetizers to the fish ???? was absolutely delicious ???? . The restaurant manager EricJones was so nice and our waiter was perfect. I wish more restaurants could be like this one. We enjoyed it so much we wentback Wednesday the day after the wedding. I will take my family to Tacky Jacks in Fort Morgan every time we are in that area. Thank you to the manager Eric and staff for making our visit awesome!! Read more
