Went in for a late lunch on a Saturday. First things first: good first impression. Spacious area with both indoor and outdoor... seating, attentive and friendly wait staff and a good menu for both pizza and non pizza dishes. We got their hot honey garlicParmesan wood fired garlic wings and the special pizza of the day. The pizza was prosciutto and figs pizza. The sauce for thewings was very tasty and the wings were cooked perfectly. However, the wings by itself lacked flavor severely, and the saucethat it was tossed in felt like it was just a coat and did not fully marry the wings. The pizza was delicious, but it needed tobe in the oven for a tad bit longer to get a nice crisp on the crust of the pizza. The cheese and the figs on the pizza wasphenomenal. The prosciutto felt extra and did not really feel like it was part of the pizza which was disappointing. Overallgood experience and would be back to try some of their other items. Read more

First time here, everything was great. The meatballs are amazing, they have an interesting flavor I can’t put my finger on and... the whipped ricotta was slightly sweet. Very good. I got the margarita pizza as my usual practice for a first time at a pizzaplace. It was perfect. San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil and olive oil drizzle. It was charred perfectly but notburned. The pizza is definitely in my top 3 favorites. We’ll definitely be back again. My only complaint is the parking butthat is the city’s fault so just plan ahead and walk from a nearby lot. Read more

Another great meal in St Pete, at Bavaro's best location, and with the added pleasure of dessert, moving from our outdoor dining... table to the bar. This is where we had the good fortune to enjoy Chris' delicious Expresso Martini with their scrumptiousTiramisu and Cannoli. Best I've had out in a long while. After enchanted Christmas on Christmas eve we were feeling hungry so we quickly searched a restaurant around us and came across... Bavaro's Pizza which was open and had good reviews too. So we decided to have Christmas eve dinner at Bavaro's Pizza. It is agood restaurant with live singing and seating options indoor as well as outdoor. We had to wait for five minutes before weseated down on the table. We were greeted by our server Jacquelyn with the menu and water. After browsing through the menu andasking several questions from the server about the food options we decided to order Red wine which was Caymus Conundrum alongwith the garlic bread and for the dinner we ordered Quattro Formaggi pizza along with Rigatoni al Funghi pasta and tiramisucake. From the order we first got the red wine and garlic bread. Both were amazing and my wife loved the wine. Slowly, we gotpizza and pasta. Both were hot and delicious. We loved our food absolutely and it was tasty and freshly made. After our food wegot tiramisu cake as the desert. The cake was also delicious and one of the best we had. Delicious pizza, love the dough and the crispy crunchy burnt bits on the crust. Mmmm, the left over pizza reheats very well the... next day! ???? They have a classic Napolitan pizza oven, which makes all the difference!! We had the charcuterie board, Verdesalad, Margherita & Diavola pizza, zucchini noodles with shrimp in a red sauce and the meatball panini. Great local pizza spot with real wood fired pizza (hard to find in Florida)! Spoke with one of the chefs who said the oven was... imported from Italy and made just for their restaurant. We hadn't made reservations, but the hostess let us put our name in, wegrabbed a drink at the bar nextdoor and our table was ready in less than 30 minutes. A great pizza place with good service and a fantastic pizza chef from Turkey. The oven is excellent and the pies themselves are... made with expertise. Don't make my mistake and add too many toppings though or else it may become too watery and soggy, as Iadded extra tomatoes. Just order it the way its written on the menu.
