I tried Cava for the first time at their Sarasota location. My experience was excellent, all of the employees were very... friendly, and they had everything in stock. Unfortunately, when I came to this location they were out of Romaine Lettuce, andcertain sauces. I order a BYO bowl, with harissa honey chicken. When I asked for the chicken, there was barely anything in thecontainer. The young woman looked me dead in my face and gave me half a scoop of chicken. With shock, I respectfully asked formore chicken and ended up being charged for ?extra? when she didn?t give the correct portion to begin with. I guess she wasfeeling lazy today and didn?t want to refill the chicken container but wanted to give bottom of the barrel burnt chicken tocustomers. The customer behind me received less chicken than i did AFTER she refilled it and still charged him extra as well.(Watch out for her) I was truly rooting for all locations, but I will not be back to this location and do not recommend anyonegoing to this one. Got a build your own bowel and loaded it with toppings/slip meat and grain/salad to really test it out. It was a full bowl and... was ready for pickup when I arrived. I tried the blueberry lavender drink which was unqiue and I enioyed it though isnt usuallywhat Id go for. I will be back! Read more
I was excited to try this place unfortunately had an awful experience. Food was decent but the wait times were horrible. Only... had 6 people in front us but we waited over 30 minutes before even starting to order food. Also some of the ingredients werequested were out. Not sure if it is a staffing or training issue or both? Unfortunately we won't be back. Read more

My family and I just had a delicious healthy meal at CAVA. It far exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and... helpful in explaining all the different options they had on their menu. Sadly didn't take any pictures during the event, but my family went during the soft opening and everyone ordered something... different... chicken pita, harissa avocado bowl, Greek chicken bowl, and the spicy chicken bowl.. and everything was ABSOLUTELYdelicious. It's very Chipotle-style in service, you go through each section and can them what you want/don't want as they makeyour food right in front of you! The quality was spectacular, and you could really taste the freshness in every ingredient theyuse. I really appreciated how many sauce options there were because I'm one of those people that like heavy sauce! Therestaurant itself was very clean, open, and bright. They layout was nice and the drink options were unique and tasty! My onlycomment is that they should be putting more hummus on the bowls than the super tiny little scoop they give you. I'm sure youcould ask for more, I'm not sure if that would be extra, but the regular amount they give you should be like twice the amountthe give you because it was virtually non-existent in my bowl. Overall though, the staff is very polite and happy to help, and Iloved the vibes! Great menu that is on the smaller side but I'm happy it's open to customization! Lots of good choices of tasty food; and they'll mix it anyway you want... Healthy food in a bowl/pita and freshly made... daily. Basalmic chicken bowls, Falafel, Humus, Avocados, Fruits, greens, lentils, Salads, greens, tzatziki, onions, pickles,cabbage, eggplant, and numerous other delicious ingredients that can mix in a bowl.. Customers can pick/choose they're ownunique combination of foods to mix in a bowl. Bowls are good sized; enough for two people. Childrens menu is available. Thedrinks are delicious and unique: Blueberry Lavander, Cucumber Mint Lime, Jasmine Tea, Lemonade, Pineapple Apple Mint aredelicious and a must try.... Water, apple juice and soda also available. Plenty of parking and handicapped parking available.Service is friendly and quick. Store has plenty of seating and is very clean. It's a must visit for vegans. Read more
