The food is always prepared fresh with care and a smile! Today I had the absolutely BEST meatball & marinara sub! This weeks... weekly special B\'s Bison Balls!! House made all natural, Bison meatballs smothered in house made marinara, topped withprovolone cheese, toasted perfect on fresh white bread with just the right amount of sub sauce and Italian dust seasoning.. Nice to have a sandwich shop within walking distance. Welcome to Kenwood! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, didn?t notice any... music. Only two outdoor tables, I?m sure they will get more as they grow. It was very busy and seems to be a hit already. Theworkers were friendly and fast paced. We got the Brycer sub and it was really good, we liked the crunch of the chips on it. Thebread was soft and easy to eat. The berry smoothie was a perfect combination and loved that is was vegan. One of the better places to get a Sub/Sandwich. Being from New Jersey / New York / Philly area I am use to a heavy sub /... sandwich on very hardy bread. It seems to be hard to find much of that it seems in Florida. But, the wrap I got at Gateway was agood sandwich. The sandwich size I got was 1/4lb of meat. It didn\'t seem like a 1/4lb but I\'m guessing it was. I am use to thedeli\'s and subshops just piling up meat.\nThe deli meat was good. The vegetables were very fresh.\nThe employees were extremelynice and the shop is extremely clean. I would definitely visit again and recommend. Read more
Gateway is hands down the best sub shop in the Tampa and St. Pete area! The sandwich?s are insanely tasty and you get so much... value for what you pay. The staff is also incredibly friendly, I truly have never experienced anything like it. I tried TheBrycer and it exceeded my expectations and is now my new go to! Cannot wait to come back again asap! First time here today and definitely will be a regular since I literally live across the street! Ordered a turkey for the wife... and the roast beef/turkey/ham for myself. Ran it through the garden with all of the veggie options! By far the best sub I?vehad. Hopefully they can convince the landlord to improve signage/lighting. Highly recommend!! Read more

When it comes to sandwiches and subs this place has a variety of options. I got the spicy Italian and it was amazing.
