This place is an absolute hidden gem in Gulfport. They have a lot of tasty stuff but their pressed Italian sub is incredible.... Garlic butter on the outside and pepperoncinis inside with other great ingredients. Fantastic. The restaurant is charming andintimate. Read more

Got a Cuban Togo, ate half of it while talking to the owner and sweet lady Jax. Was supposed to eat the other half right before... getting on a plane but couldn?t wait, as you can see in the picture? I?m 30 years old, I live in downtown Gulport and I?ve beenlooking for a place like this for a very long time. I thought it was Comfort Cafe off 58th but my business has now fallen tosomeone else. I can?t wait to go and try more things at Jax?s. This is the hole in the wall place I?m sure we are all lookingfor because even brand new fancy expensive places are sometimes bad. I can?t wait to go back and try the guacamole club. Shesays she makes the guac right then and there with each sandwich. Also! I will be trying the breakfast there too. Stumbled upon this lovely little place today. I have passed this dozens of times without even knowing it was there! Now that I... know, I will be there regularly. Had the good fortune do meet Miz Jax (presumably the owner) and find out that in addition tomaking some amazing food, she also is a positive force in the community who lends a hand to those who have fallen upon hardtimes.
