FOOD: I am on a diet. The man behind the counter was very accommodating to my needs. I had a salad with no rice, no beans,... romain AND arugla, chicken, cheese, pico, and guac (guac costs extra). The salad was fresh and crunchy but my chicken wasneither exceptionally juicy nor tender. To be fair, it is made in advance and sits in a warmer until they serve you (they don'treheat meat for salad but it would probably wilt it anyways). My husband had some sort of meal that came with three tacos and hetried each one if the meats (chicken/pork/steak). They grilled his tortillas fresh as he ordered and his meat did go onto thetortillas while they were on the grill to re-heat it. He got a glass bottled soda. I tried to opt for a diet soda but they don'toffer any so I tried to get a water instead. The soda machine wasn't name brand which was fine by me; but it ONLY offerscarbonated water... that was a surprise to me. I just got ice and poured my water bottle into the cup instead. VIBE: The placewas clean and modern. No straws, but the cups and covers are plastic. If you dine in, they give you either a basket lined withwax paper or a stainless steel bowl. The smells of cooking meat (in the morning) while we were working next door brought usin. PRICE: It was $30.16 for 3 tacos, a SMALL diabetic/keto friendly salad (filled up just over half the small bowl but youcould have set a book on top without concern of your book getting dirty), a single bottled soda ($3?), and guac. We did notrecieve nor were we offered a reciept so I can't give a breakdown of the charges. We missed the sign on the door when we walkedin that states they do NOT ACCEPT CASH. I know some people love it.. but I don't shop regularly at places that don't acceptcash. Will not be back. Read more

first of all, WOW! my experience at popos could only be classified as a blast. as I walk through the entry way, Refreshing blast... of air grazed through my hair. i was immediately met by a young eligible bachelor by the name of Ardhin:). he greeted me w afriendly smirk and wave.. then came the true star of the show. Adelane (pardon my spelling) was a twirl! Her wide bright smilebeamed on each customer that graced her restaurant. she didn?t hesitate to spark up a convo and we instantly connected! herpersuasive ways coaxed me into indulging in a sweet mango delight. 10/10 would rec to a homie???? I am visiting St Pete for a real estate conference and needed a place to eat. One of the locals pointed me towards Poppos. It... was an excellent choice. The environment was clean and casual. The British guy behind the counter was very nice. There was anoutdoor order window for those with their pets. The ingredients tasted Uber fresh and flavorful. I had a salad bowl. I alsoordered a side of chips. I think they were were made from tortillas and freshly cooked to order with the refreshing salsa. Iwould definitely recommend this place. You won?t leave disappointed. Man! Absolutely perfect. I love how much flavor went into making the street corn. Grilled corn, with this amazing sauce on top.... Shredded cheese as well. Just enough spice, and balanced out with the lime to go on top. Just speechless on how to explain howgood it is. You can even order ahead as well. Read more
