First time here. Food was great. Had the original with fries and drink. Service was awesome and everyone was friendly and... thanked us on the way out. Really enjoyed them taking the time for that. I think my only suggestion if they read this is withthe fries. Were they hot? Yes. Were they crispy? Yes. Were they flavorful? Not so much. Pretty much just tasted like plain friedpotatoes. The food here was absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the Philly cheese steak and their cheese fries were delicious too! We... ordered the lemonade and it left a lot to be desired, but thankfully there are other drink options. I was disappointed becausethey boasted it was homemade. The staff was very friendly and the restrooms were clean. I can't wait to come back here againand enjoy a delicious sandwich and crispy fries cooked to perfection! Read more

The cheese fries were very good; however, the 12” triple cheesesteak was very bland as if had no seasoning what so ever.

The most authentic steak sandwich I’ve had outside of Philly. Meat was good quality. They have whiz so that’s a huge plus.... Bread is right on the money with Philly bread, light but holds together well. Could use a little more seasoning. Only reasonthey get 4 is because we drove from an hour away to sit in the car and eat because the dining room was closed. Read more

I really enjoyed this place. The place looks a little drab and does not have flair, but that's ok. You are there for the Philly,... remember that. On your Philly you get the option of Cheez-Whiz which is relatively unheard of around here. The owner rang up mytransaction and you could tell he was hustling and working hard. COVID has killed a lot of restaurants, especially small ones,but Tony Nelson's scaled back their hours to make sure they could still offer its guests great food at peak times. Check thisplace out! I love Tony Nelson's, and I have never had a bad experience until today. I called in to place a take-out order around 1 p.m.,... the young lady that answered the phone was very rude. It was very loud, I asked if I could place a take-out order, she said shecouldn't hear me so I repeated myself louder. She then asked if I had my phone on speaker, I informed her that I didn't. Shedidn't say anything for about 10 seconds, so I said "hello". She rudely responds that she's waiting for her computer to comeup. She tells me to go ahead with my order, I tell her I want a original cheese steak with no onions and a.....she rudelyinterrupts and says give me a second. I'm then asked for the rest of my order. I ask for a 12 inch original cheese steak, noonions. Before I can get anything else out of my mouth she says "it'll be ready in 15-20 minutes you can come in and pick it upthen", then she hangs up the phone in my face. I didn't even have time to tell her what kind of cheese I wanted on my sandwich. When my order gets here there are no peppers on either of my sandwiches, and no cheese from what I can tell.
