Chili's of Gun Barrel City was very nice. Clean and attractive inside & our server did a great job. We have not been to one in... quite awhile & it seemed that the menu was scaled back some but still a lot to choose from. Our order came fast and was verygood. On my visit to Chili's the staff was very helpful and kind did everything that they could to help me to place my order I ordered... the Old timer Burger and a six pack of beer to go both were very good, my only complaint is there hamburgers used to be larger.The size they are now I could have eaten 2. Ordered an appetizer, kids meal & 2 of the 3 for $10 dinner deals. Appetizer was a triple dipper which came out luke warm/cold -... we chose not to say anything. Soups came out the same way & we still chose to not say anything. Our shrimp pastas came out andthey brought chicken. We told them it was supposed to be shrimp so they took it back. We were told it would be out quick - westill had a bit of a wait. Finally it came out & it was cold & there was a hair in mine. We ended up telling them we were notwanting them to remake it, we just wanted to leave. Just moved here from Austin & I have NEVER had an experience like this inAustin with Chili's. I'm not impressed. This location is not the greatest. They did take the meals off the ticket though whichwas nice considering we didn't eat them. 1-13-2022 To-Go order Ordered to-go. Had to wait for my food WAY past pick up timestated in email. They didn't give me all my food I ordered. Husband had a hair in his Cajun pasta. My Cajun pasta was GREASY andmy garlic bread is burnt (see pictures). We also ordered molten cake which comes with ice cream. They placed the ice cream inbetween both soups we ordered so of course it completely melted. Not happy with the quality of food & service. Terrible experience at the gbc chilis tonight. Super long wait and ALL the food was bad. They only put like one spoonful of... salsa to go with my chips, burnt the chicken on my salad, left the corn and black bean salsa on it when I specifically requestedthem not to, they didn't even cook my husband's asparagus and they somehow managed to burn the INSIDE of my sons grilled cheesewhich I didn't know was even possible. We were regulars here but probably won't be going back after tonight. Read more
Went to GBC Chili's last night and had the worst experience. It's a shame that we have so little restaurants around here as it... is. We had to wait to be seated, not a problem there. We waited about 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Once our waitress came overwe ordered our drinks and food since we had plenty of time to decide. My husband ordered a draft beer. After 25 minutes Iflagged down the waitress to ask about his beer. She went to check to see if it was ready and came back to let us know they wereout of the beer he asked for so he ordered the only draft they had on tap. Got that beer quite a few minutes later. After 45minutes our food comes. Two burgers and fries. After the first bite I realized why it took so long. Both burgers were so welldone and gray in color and maybe 10 fries. It was horrible and we won't be back. Everything we got I had to ask for. Nobodychecked on us. It's a shame. Read more
