Was disappointed all the way around. The people working there could definitely work on being more friendly. But where I was... truly disappointed was the spaghetti on the lunch special. I have never had such a small portion given for spaghetti anywhere. The sauce was bland and tasteless, no meat on it. Not even meatballs. That was another first for me. And no garlic toast wasgiven even. I have never gone to any place where I received so little food for so much. And tasteless and bland at that. Andlastly I got the salad. It was pretty much the same. Very tiny salad with very little in it except lettuce and carrot of allthings. Lol. The only reason they earned 2 stars instead of one of that although they were pretty busy. I was pleased withthe speed of the service. So they do deserve 2 stars because of that. Read more
As a truck driver it's sometimes difficult to find places that are willing to deliver to the truck instead of me having to drop... my trailer not only did they deliver it was amazing and fresh. The pizza was hot and the pasta salad was delicious. Thankful forplaces like this. Thank you Read more
Our group was in town for the day from Lake City for a grocery store run and wanted to eat at another pizza establishment that... was, unbeknownst to us, closed on Tuesday. Funnily enough we tried two other places (one was no open yet, and the other only hadone server) before we saw Mario's and decided to give it a go...and man, are we glad we did! Mario's ended up being awesome -great service and excellent food! We generally visit the other pizza joint when in town, but that has now changed, and we willvisit Mario's on future trips. We would like to give a Great Big Thank You to both the managers and staff! We had arranged to have a bunch of pizzas delivered... to the baseball fields to feed our Buena Vista boys who were supposed to play a double header today but the games werecancelled due to heavy rain...with very little notice the staff jumped into action allowing us to instead bring our whole teamin and speed up the order to help get us back on the road! The food was as delicious as always and the staff really knocked itout of the park! Read more
Our party of 9 including 5 young teens ate here on our way to a ski weekend in CB. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating to... our large group, especially our server Anna who is a student at WS. The food was delicious and blew away our expectations. Weall ordered something different and each meal was a hit. Quality ingredients and they don?t skimp! So glad we found this littlegem. Read more
One of my favorite restaurants in all the world! The half n half salad is so dang good and the lunch special is perfection. Try... the avalanche pizza (probably not on the menu anymore) if you prefer pizza without red sauce. Read more
This was the best meal my husband and I had on our trip. It was a hidden gem in the middle of the mountains of Colorado. We had... the baked mozzarella - their sauce was perfect! And we had a Mario's Combo pizza. We loved every bite! The staff was superfriendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant - giving off a 70's pizza parlor vibe.
