They were giving free Bundt cakes today, but not to people of color. I walked in, and immediately the old white lady (behind the... register on the left side) gave me a look of disdain and charged me full price. I was too shocked to say anything, and wasfeeling very hurt. This lady didn?t know me and judged me solely on appearance. Then a white customer walked in and the samelady excitedly told her they were giving free Bundt cakes today. This is such disappointing behavior. Please do better. Read more
Love the shop & people. They give a military discount however some Sundays I would like a Bundt cake and they are closed. I know... they need/deserve a break. Other than that... Awesome cakes and service! Read more
My dad doesn?t like too many sweets but for his birthday he requested a confetti bundtlet! Obviously we were going to get him... what he asked for! I placed an order to pick up two from a different location at 5:15. I pre-paid, walked in, they handed me abag closed with a sticker, and I left. I proceeded to pickup dinner and drive home. I got home and opened the bag to find that Ionly had one bundtlet and the one I received was not confetti! It was, however the other one I ordered at least. At this pointit was about 6:20. Most locations close at 6. Luckily Gurnee is open until 7. I called and the lady who answered said typicallyI would have to pay because the locations operate independently and she will not get the money back, however she gave us thecake with no payment. We REALLY appreciate this, as we had to take an hour and a half long trip in order to get this cake.Customer service is top notch and this is a great location! Read more

That is how all 7 dozen looked like when I opened the boxes and their manager told me it was my fault and she wouldn?t do... anything for me. All of 100 guests and friends/family on social media are aware to order from a different location from now on! Read more

These cakes are delicious! I am not a cake person, never have been. I never like bundt cakes either. My mother in law brought... some over for us to try, she said they were really good. She was right! These are the moistest cake I have ever had. They havereal cream cheese frosting on top. They have a good amount of different flavors. You can get all different size cakes fordifferent occasions. I will be buying these for everyone. Read more
