I am a truck driver, and am on a tight schedule. I walked into Golden Chick in Guthrie, OK and had to wait a few minutes to even... be acknowledged. The cashier finally came up front and was laughing, and said "sorry for the wait. You know how it is whenpeople start talking". She proceeded to take my order, which was a 6 piece wing combo with fries and a roll. When I left, I wasin a hurry, and didn't realize until later that I only had 5 wings in the box. It isn't that difficult to count to 6! Betweenthe lack of promptness, the lack of professionalism, and the inability of the staff to count to 6, I will NOT be returning tothis location! Update: I was contacted by the manager, and she not only apologized for my experience, but she coached herstaff and sent me a gift card. Thank you so much for making it right! Read more

I have no idea why it took me this long to review this place! I love Golden Chick. This location is full of super friendly... staff. The food is always hot and fresh and delicious, no matter what I've ordered. I've only used the drive thru, so I'm notsure what the inside is like, so I can't speak to that, but it's a chicken place attached to a gas station. My husband and Idon't frequent fast food places, but each time we get that urge, it's Golden Chick 99% of the time. Chicken is juicy andwell-spiced, fries are crispy and delicious - even the catfish is great. Love this place! Read more

While their food may be decent. They have decided to charge $0.50 per little cup of BBQ sauce. When you spend a ton of money... (almost $100), on their food, which is already overpriced, you sure don?t want to pay extra to dip your chicken tender. Thiswill be the last time we eat there. I can take my money somewhere else.
