Great local bar/ restaurant to grab a quick bite and or a relaxing meal. As a frequent customer, I can honestly say the food is... always fresh and to your personal liking. My family and I went for dinner to celebrate my sisters graduation. The food was amazing and the customer service was even... better. The owner makes a point to connect with all of his guests, and he even put a candle on my sister’s dessert tocelebrate her graduation! This is a wonderful place to have a relaxing dinner with those you love, however we ended up having torush a bit due to other events and the owner not only accommodated us, but was so kind about it! Marcelo, one of the owners of Cavalino's makes each and every guest feel special! You feel like you are a guest in his... home. This is a very cozy restaurant that is beloved by the neighborhood folks and folks from across the Hudson River in theneighboring New York City. The food and the service are both personal, friendly and delicious. I had one of the specials,pasta with garlic, olive oil with sausage, chicken and shrimp. We were at this place on the Valentine’s Day. It’s a small Italian restaurant but staff was very friendly. Eat Here and You'll Most Likely Come BACK! Marcelo the proprietor is attentive and reactive. The party experience was pretty... good and the place is well managed. PROS: + Pricing is reasonable off the menu. + Staff is very accommodating. + Service isfast and friendly. + Food is well prepared and portions great. + Communication before a party is excellent. CONS: - Parking Canbe difficult. Be prepared to drive around for a bit. - Making changes to a meal can be costly. Like 2x the cost of the entree. -Lack of menu for children [but staff still accommodates well]. If you're looking for great Italian food in the area, thenabsolutely try this place. Its well located and cozy. If you're having a party, be very clear on what you are ordering and whatmenu you'd like to use. Also, understand that little ones may not have their own menu. Cavalino's is a well kept secret for many in our neck-of-the-woods. All the staples of Italian home cooking (and then some) are... served here, using good ingredients, in reasonable portions and at great prices.
