First time to had a cuban food! This restaurant is popular because of their food and the nice view. Location: It is located in... Guttenberg. The restaurant is in the second floor. The side of the restaurant has a cafe. There is a lot of indoor and outdoorseating. Valle parking available if you can’t find parking. Service: the front desk is nice but you have to wait at least 1hour to be seated. Our server just asked what is our order, didn’t even introduce himself or smile. As if we are in a fastfood. It is not language barrier cause he speaks perfect english and it’s not only him but 2 more has the sameattitude. Food: to be honest most of the food was just okay. PAELLA: it was okay, there is a ton of seafood in there but theactual taste was just okay. The rice was perfectly cooked tho! UN POQUITO DE TODO: means it has a little bit of everything. Itcomes with roasted pork, shredded beef, steamed cassava with mojo and sweet plantains. Again, it was okay, it has a little bitof chicharon and that is the only one that I like. TOSTONES MONTADITOS: this is only food that I like here, the steak isperfectly seasoned and cooked and the tostones taste good. PIÑA COLADA: omg it is so sweet, it does not even taste pineapple,it is just milk and sugar. I have to asked for water so I can make it less sweeter! Me and my friend says it is waysweet! The view is amazing, the food is good, we enjoyed only appetizers this time and some cocktails. The piña colada was delicious,... both with and without alcohol and highly recommend the stuffed tostones. The only thing that keeps me from a 5 star review wasa “foreign object” in my drink but was replaced quite fast but still got charged for it. Our server was very nice andpolite. Fun! Loud! Boisterous! Great food and staff! Nice views. Separate bar upstairs. Authentic Cuban food and desserts. Great drinks... and coffee/espresso as well. Very cool decor! Can't wait to return when in town again! Read more
I eat here often. My “go to” dish is the fried snapper. One word— DELICIOUS! My friends and I also like their Hennessy... Colada. This time, I had a fried steak and rum punch. ???? This restaurant is awesome for families and reasonably priced. Read more
This is my second time visiting. The food is still amazing. Today I ordered for appetizer fried plantain with picadillo and... melted cheese. I also ordered the lunch special, pork roast with onion and black beans and rice. Everything was beyonddelicious. Portions are generous, and prices are very inexpensive. I had a 25 person lunch for our team from work and our whole experience was nothing short of spectacular. There was no charge... valet because it was a weekday. So we parked for free. We had amazing seats alongside the windows with a gorgeous view of theNYC skyline/Hudson river. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding. The per person package I selected was very fairpriced, included a great selection of apps, entrees and desserts. Drinks were also included in the package. Our server Galo wason his A game and did such a fantastic job. He also had the manager overseeing him and helping out and an additional 2-3 peopleassisting him. His customer service was top notch. He was professional, polite, accurate, fast turn around and all aroundhospitable. It was our first corporate event here but it won’t be our last!
