Interesting way to order food and seat yourself. You put in your order and pay up at the front desk and then sit yourself down... at any free table. The menu is breakfast centric and has lots of Asian fusion options. Food comes out in a timely manner andis made fresh! Everything we ordered was very tasty. The French toast is so crunchy, it's amazing. Portions are big enough toshare between 2 people. You can eat it by yourself, but you'd be pretty full by the end of it. Read more

I've tried it at the Alhambra store, this is the first time for Togo, the California egg roll is not bad, the other two desserts... put too much condensed milk, it's too sweet. Takeout is still not as good as dine-in. Read more

Great food location for Asian fusion style brunches. You need to order when you enter the establishment. Once you have ordered,... they will give you a number which you will take to your table and staff will bring the food to you. We got the kimchi omelet andthe hot chicken benedict very spicy (they have multiple spice levels). Shout of to the potatoes as well, since they hold theirweight in taste! I Google maps and reviews for a breakfast restaurant. The one reason I selected Popping Yolk Cafe was the current reviews... giving high praise for food and service. The owner is proactive responding to all reviews. Good and bad reviews. So, I decidedto have breakfast. You order at the cashier counter and the staff brings you your meal. My first impression the decor/ambiancewas nothing special. The service was very good and knowledgeable. I ordered the "Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict " medium spicy.No knowing how they rate the spice levels. Next time I will choose the higher level of spiciness. I like the fact that theyserve a salad with the entree to break up the richness of the eggs. The potatoes were crisp and just average. Coffee was so sonot the best I've had. Ok with non dairy creamer which I never use in Coffee. I will definitely return. Maybe their new locationin Arcadia closer to our home. Read more
