Flavorful food which can please even the pickiest eater. A wide variety to choose from the menu. Our 1st time here and it won't... be our last. You walk in and are welcomed by a friendly hostess. Nice, ample space, clean and filled with vibrant music. Thefood takes time to get on the table but it's well worth the wait. Fresh, flavorful and generous portions fill the plate. Weordered Mexican Ceviche and Grilled salmon accompanied with a tropical salad. See picts below. Both dishes had authentic andamazing flavors. You are welcomed to BYOB to this restaurant and they opened our bottle of wine (no fee). We want to go back totry the rest of their menu. Read more
Why haven't I been here before?! This restaurant was awesome! You have to try their shakes! I just had two of the mango shakes,... with milk (can get with water), and to say they were perfect would be an understatement. The mango shakes were made fresh andthick - with pieces of mango inside. I ordered sausage for my appetizer, and the beef stew (#52) and I am full at homewondering why I didn't take some of it to go! Pretty cozy Columbian restaurant. Food was nothing stellar or above par compared to other similar Columbian establishments. It... was good. The chaufan was not as good as the Peruvian, and even, Ecuadorian versions. Service and attentiveness by the staffwas lacking. It was as if they were doing the customers a favor by assisting them. First time visitor and it was a great experience. Great service and even greater food. Portions are big and prices are right. I went to this restaurant with a couple of friends and I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look like much from outside, but... the interior is very aesthetically appealing. The brightly colored walls give off a welcoming vibe and gives the entirerestaurant an added level of character. Our waitress was a wonderful woman who went out of her way to make us comfortable.Including helping us to take pictures of our group (we celebrated a birthday so we got a couple group shots). She even adjustedone of the hanging lamps so it wouldn't block the angle of the camera. It speaks volumes about the kindness of the staff thatshe was willing to help us with some of our poses. I ordered a burrito filled with pieces of steak and rice from the mexicansection of the menu. The instant I cut into the inner center of the burrito, I knew I made the right choice. We bought Groupon which we were able to order up to 60$. Staff was very friendly and the service was good. The meals were... absolutely amazing with low price and big portions. The chicken fajitas was super super yummy. Read more
I found this place through Groupon and purchased a $30 voucher for $21. I made a reservation for same day dining 15 mins before... arrival and the restaurant was not busy at all (Saturday around 7:30pm.) We ordered a sweet cornbread appetizer covered incheese. I don't recommend it because the cheese was hot but the cornbread was still cold or warm in certain areas. It was verydry and maybe even missing sauce. My husband ordered a breaded steak entree and it came with a generous cup of beans to go withhis rice. Very filling and flavorful for him. I ordered the mixed seafood ceviche verde, which means it comes with avocado. Iwant to say the dish could have had more lime juice. Salt was added but your know it wasn't mixed in evenly. Certain areas wassaltier than other areas. I am very happy with the portion, I over ate because i didn't want to get the seafood to go for nextday's meal. Mixed seafood consists of shrimp, baby octopus, larger octopus legs, squids, and fish. I didn't get that many fish,maybe 6 small pieces. The dish came with fried plantain chips. The menu showed long plantain chips (whole plantain length) ontheir menu. Unfortunately, the dish came with broken Up chips. In other words, I felt like I was deceived and disappointedbecause I do love plantain chips. I did manage to see other reviews and photo post and saw others with full length plantainchips. Also, my hubby ordered a soda and we reminded two servers to bring it over. To be honest, you think you're getting adeal through Groupon, however, you get less food overall and there is an automatic 18% tagged onto the bill because we wereusing a Groupon deal. I understand they are running a business. There really is no deal but we got to try the restaurant out andglad the food is decent. Overall food was excellent and we will come back again.
