I was never a fan of Applebee's but I got a gift card so we went. I was delightfully surprised at how good it was. Friendly... waitress, good food even for getting something light - typical Applebee's atmosphere inside- which is not bad - and some craftbeers on tap at a good price. I'll go back. Read more
After a lovely day of pumpkin picking, we stopped at Applebee's in Hackettstown for lunch. I'm a vegan, and they now have... impossible burgers so that was a pleasant surprise as I have not been here in years. Our server, Nicole, was THE BEST server Ithink we've ever had, ever. She took extra great care of my 2 1/2 year old niece, and honestly could not have been more of apleasant person and attentive server. I can't say we typically leave 60% tips, but she deserved it and more. The two for $29deal plus appetizer was a hot, and we had leftovers. Food was significantly better than I remember years ago. You can't beat the value and quality you get at Applebee's. The menu is Americana with honestly the best Whiskey Burger I ever... had . The beer selection is fabulous. The ambiance is cozy and comfortable. Sam was a great server. The chicken tacos weredelicious. Very fun atmosphere with large screens all around you to check out hour favorite team. The parking lot was nearly full on a Saturday around 6 pm so we were nervous, but we were seated immediately, ordered quickly,... and received our food and drinks in a very reasonable amount of time. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The food wasgood although the fries were too salty. Overall a very pleasant dinner out. Read more
