Stella G?s is by far the best breakfast place in Hackettstown. Every time I go there it?s always packed, but that?s never... affected the service. This was a favorite weekend brunch and lunch location for my husband and me but the service has gone down hill. We arrived at... 1:20PM twice only to be told they were not seating anymore. If they close at 2PM then they should seat until then. The food isgood but not worth the price or the inconvenience. Both times, several parties behind us were turned away as well. My husband and I went here twice. He tried a breakfast burger and a sandwich with fries. He said both were good. I ordered the... bread pudding French toast; it didn't look appetizing when it arrived and it was covered with mussy canned pineapples (didn'tlike this). The other time, I ordered a waffle with fresh strawberries; it was thin and tasteless except for the berries. Myside order of bacon, although good, was only three pieces. I've been going to Stella g's with friends and family for years it's been a couple years since I've been here and I just... finished having breakfast. I can assure you I will never return not only was the service awful and don't give me the whole lackof employees thing I watched four people stand behind the counter basically doing nothing looking at each other talkingnon-business The I think owner new owner since I've been there walked past me probably 10 times without even acknowledgingsomebody was at the counter not good morning not can I get you a cup of coffee nothing so after people walking by like I wasbasically invisible I stopped the one waiter and I said excuse me can I at least have a menu please any hands me a menu and Isaid to him I'd like to order some scones to put aside and his response to me was yeah when I get to it and he just walked off. Waitresses kept walking past back and forth back and forth like no one was even sitting there still so guess what happens whencustomers get to sit and stare at things for a while they watch your waiter drop the coffee mug onto the filthy floor and thenpick it up and put it right back on the shelf to be reused after my experience today I will never ever return to Stella g'snever...Enjoy your coffee....yuck! No thanks... PS....I brought home scones for my dad....he bit into one and startedchoking/coughing...I said what's wrong? Food was absolutely delicious. Staff was very pleasant. Seating was a bit busy, but sat fairly quickly. I would highly recommend... this place if you are in the area. Also their scones are amazing!! 1st time I had ever had one and wish I bought a box full! Read more

There's very little that motivates or draws me into the unamerican authoritarian state of New Jersey, where the government... deprives the people of their inalienable constitutional rights. However, sometimes you just stumble across something so uniqueyou can't resist but to occasionally make the trip. If you're looking for a restaurant to take your wife, fiance, or girlfriendon a date to, I recommend "Stalla G's" in Hacketstown N.J.. It's worth the trip. Their service and food is exemplary. From ourown exeriences, instead of assigning one single waitress to be overloaded with serving multiple tables, it's appeared to us thatall of the waitresses work respectfully toward each other as a team to insure every customer is attended to in an efficientmanner. Very efficient, very friendly, and very respectful to the customers as well as toward each other. Something we've rarelycome across to this level. Furthermore, unlike the common boring meals you find everywhere else, we've especially enjoyed theiruniquely diverse menu selections. The selection you see here is their Seasonal (currently Strawberries (June 2019)) FrenchToast with almond essence, ricotta, & toasted almonds, with a side of their absolutely scrumptious Egg Plant Fries. Stopped in with my husband for breakfast. If heard good things and was thrilled to find them true! The wait staff was... excellent, friendly and efficient. The menu was wonderful, with so many interesting choices! I had Eggs Benedict and hubby hadthe coat cheese omelet, both served with delicious potatoes. Overall a great experience. Read more

Hidden gem. Stopped by on the way to pick fruits from the farms around. The place is so awesome we would come back to have food... here. Really great turnover taste like just out of oven..
