Brooklyn Original Pizzeria offered a free small cheese pizza for Veterans Day (for Veterans). I am ALWAYS looking for a good... pizza place, and in my mind the best measure of a place is how well they do the plain cheese slice. How great was this one?Perfect! Now, I realize that pizza is a pretty personal thing, but this was exactly my cup of tea. Thin and crispy-chewy crust,right amount of sauce and cheese, and some "bones" around the edge but not too much. Crust had a GREAT flavor, and the cheesehad a bit of oregano mixed in which was a nice touch. This guy is a real Sicilian, and absolutely knows what he is doing. Highlyrecommend. In addition, the fact that a small business like his would offer this up for free on Veterans Day is awesome. Iwould not have taken advantage, but, as mentioned, I am specifically looking for some good pizza. He even gave me a "GrazieMille" on the way out. Class act. You gained a regular, friend. Read more
Fantastic pizza, amazing crust! My only complaint is the first time I went there was a very large variety of slices. On... subsequent visits it has been hit or miss. Maybe they only do the big variety on Fridays or something. Anyway, food is so goodit doesn't matter. Read more
I go here almost everyday on my break for a slice of tomato pie . This is the best pizza place in jersey. The lady working there... is always a pleasure as well. Every slice I tried from here I loved. I really recommend trying it out! Read more

An hour drive totally worth it. If you are in the area and you're looking for classic Brooklyn style Square pie, check this... place out. I ordered a half drunk grandma and cacio e pepe Brooklyn Square and a traditional round half Pepperoni. The customerservice was on another level. The entire crew was super friendly and engaging. I told the woman behind the counter that it wasmy first time and I drove from PA and she gave me a rundown of all of their pizzas and offered me a slice of the originalBrooklyn Square on the house. Absolutely delicious, was my favorite slice of all. The crust is delicious and crispy, the flavorswere amazing and fresh. I would absolutely recommend to anyone. The hype is real: Brooklyn Original is legit. If you?re a fan of well done pizzas with really flavorful, savory sauces, consider... this a must have. The crust is really something special: no flop at all, thin and crispy, and maintains a fluffy, springy chewaround the edge. Was looking for a new pizza place and seen all the good reviews and recommendations about this place and thought I?d give it a... try. I?m very picky with my pizza and food and this was definitely worth it! I drove 30 minutes to pick it up and it was worththe drive!! Was good not great. I saw the reviews and pictures and my pie just didn?t seem to look that everyone else?s. Got half... traditional and half Sfincione. The one side was drowned out by Parmesan. The crust was light and airy but everything else justseemed thrown on there without much thought. Not a ton of flavor and freshness but still good nonetheless. Won?t return butworth the try. Read more
