BEST vegan cheesesteak!!! And my parents LOVE the regular cheesesteaks (they ask is to order every-time they visit) But... seriously?. I?ve been vegan for 13 years, I lived in Philly for 8 of them and tried every cheesesteak that had to offer. Darsis, by far the best! Extra bonuses: ? The roll is always amazing! It?s not toasty, it?s soft and fresh (as it should be) ? Thezeppole are to die for, like seriously I have to make myself not order them? which is hard ? The hot cherry peppers?. I don?tknow who they get them from but I can?t find cherry peppers like this in the store anymore, they are crisp and spicy ? Thefries? don?t even get me started on the fries. They claim worlds best steaks, but let?s not get carried away here. They want you to wear masks even though it?s not required,... kinda feel guilt tripped into wearing one. The people are friendly. The menu is really really nice with a lot of differentoptions including gluten friendly. I ordered a steak with whiz and provolone. The seeded roll was nice and they use realwhiz. However when it comes to the actual steak itself, the meat is average to maybe a little above average. Would I eat thereagain? I got the beef Cheesesteak with Dar made Wiz, fried onions and portobello mushrooms. The sign out front said; World's Best... Cheesesteaks. If you follow me you know that high expectations usually don't work out. I did like the recycled cardboardcontainer. Saving the Earth while maintaining the Integrity of the roll. When I opened the container the cheesesteak looked alittle small. When I picked a piece of meat off the cheesesteak it was very tender and flavorful. The seeded row looked verygood but we had a major roll blowout. I don't know what's going on with the Whiz but it was way too runny for my liking. I wishit was thicker and stuck to the meat. Wonderful little place with EXCELLENT service. The staff were all extremely polite and courteous and the establishment was... clean. I had the chicken cheesesteak with provolone and onions, delicious. Ny husband had the steak cheesesteak and enjoyedit. We shared regular fries and whiz fries, so - damn - good. Their seeded roll was heaven! I ordered ribeye with onions and whiz. The first half wasn?t as cheesy and had me leaning towards... 4-stars... but then the second half was amazing! I?ll be ordering provolone or american as the cheese. The staff was very niceand the prices were fair. I hope they do well here. It was great to see another family owned business open up in town.
