Understaffed. Orders often wrong. Why does this place have issues other area restaurants don't have? They weren't like this... until recently. Recently, order was placed for delivery. Without notice, they used Door Dash which would deliver 30 minutesafter order was ready and showed up later than that. C'mon, Papa John's...get the act together! Read more
Didn't dine in. But I order using via doordash. Only have to wait 30-45 mintues which isn't a problem, I've gotten my pizza... delivered to my house and the pizza box was still hot. I've ordered it around 8:30pm on 7/13/22. I have order here before and myexperience is pretty good. Better than domino's, they be making them pizza as small as my asian eyes. Read more
Been here many times. 7/7/22 a staff member yelled at my wife ?your food is not ready? upon arrival and without even asking our... name. Tracker says will be ready in 24 minutes , 1 hour and 10 minutes later it?s ready but they wouldn?t hand it to us. Understaffed and rude jerks. Avoid. Concerning Papa John's Store #1179 1. When you pay by credit card on site, they will "help" you to press the wrong button on... the pos machine charging more than what's on the box sticker, and you will only see the actual charge in your credit cardstatement later. They do this on purpose, not by accident, because this happened to me twice in the past month, by one sameemployee in this store. It didn't happen in the other four times because I paid online ahead. 2. Don't order large or mediumpizza here, as the toppings will cover only a small area in the center and most of the surrounding area will just be bare breadeven without the red sauce. Extra money you paid only results in extra bread :D This also seems to be routine of that sameemployee in this store, trying to challenge the definition of a pizza, for some mysterious reason. 3. A five-topping turns outto be three when you arrive home after pick up, today by that same employee too. Option-5 in the robot phone call to speak to amanager is in fact auto hang up :D 4. I ordered pizza on a football Sunday?. Worse mistake ever to make. I order three items? cheese stick pizza, peppers and onions... pizza and garlic knots. I ordered these items at 6:48?. It was 7:49?. And it still said preparing ?. That was an hour ?. Ifinally got up and went to the store. I walk in and see an older Chinese gentleman at the front putting the stickers on boxes.I explained to him I wanted to know where my order was. He didn?t say anything to me until the third time I asked him where wasmy order. He said I don?t know I am not manager ?.. really ??? Of all the answers you could give me that was the one. So I askedhim again can I have a real answer. He begins to laugh ? yes laugh ?. After he began laughing like I told a joke the manger cameover. Whom ever he was deserves a medal. He was the only cook and the sticker guy claims he couldn?t help the manager cook ?. Iget my order finally but sadly I am missing some items?.. where?s the sauce and items for garlic knots this is just heated upknots of bread ? where?s the red sauce that goes with the pizza sticks ??? This place was not the greatest pre Covid and nowit?s just a complete mess? I paid for delivery the manager didn?t know how to change it or give us a tip back. After waitingover an hour for three items. I just wanted the food. Cooperate or some manager of south jersey stores please help this placeout. Wow. Finally decided to try the pizza seen on the commercials. Yum. Quite expensive, but decided to try anyway. Gave them... all our credit details over the phone and when the delivery person arrived told us we had to pay in cash. Sent the pizza back. Not a good experience Read more
