Something is usually messed up on the order and the servers aren't particularly attentive. My expectations for this type of... establishment are literally make sure my food is correct and my coffee is refilled. Food always comes out hot, at least. Read more
I got banana nut bread. It had a piece of hair entangled around it. I placed 2 small cuts on both pieces of bread before... alerting the server. I requested two fresh pieces. She apologized and went to the back. She brought the two pieces back out andthey had the same small knife cuts I put on there. I was going to confront her but you know that lingering thought in your headthat server's will tamper with your food if you request something new. I just left it alone and will leave this review. With all the Bob Evans restaurants I've been to, they share a number of things in common. You can generally get seated fairly... quickly, service is good, and the food is similar from place to place. They do have a good breakfast menu which is the primarymeal I go there for. Over the 15 years I've been going, of course prices have risen, but the quality of the food has stayedconsistent.
