I got banana nut bread. It had a piece of hair entangled around it. I placed 2 small cuts on both pieces of bread before... alerting the server. I requested two fresh pieces. She apologized and went to the back. She brought the two pieces back out andthey had the same small knife cuts I put on there. I was going to confront her but you know that lingering thought in your headthat server's will tamper with your food if you request something new. I just left it alone and will leave this review. With all the Bob Evans restaurants I've been to, they share a number of things in common. You can generally get seated fairly... quickly, service is good, and the food is similar from place to place. They do have a good breakfast menu which is the primarymeal I go there for. Over the 15 years I've been going, of course prices have risen, but the quality of the food has stayedconsistent. The breakfast is simply, and what you would expect for a chain restaurant and the price. From the pandemic standpoint the place... is very clean, they all are wearing masks, and separate people appropriately. The service was prompt, friendly, and orders weretaken accurately. Visited on a road trip from Toronto, Canada to Washington DC. Our first visit to a Bob Evans location and we enjoyed the... experience. Food was great and the service even better. We were thirteen of us and Amanda (Mendi) took very good care of us. Itwas a birthday celebration made special by the singing quartet you see in the picture. Read more
Food was good, service was nice. It wasnt a very quick service but average in terms of time. One thing I did not like was the... server did not even ask if we want to order something more and placed the bill on our table which was very rude.
