I took my mom here today after her cataract surgery this morning. She was hungry because she wasn?t able to eat anything until... after the surgery. She wanted Dennys. The restaurant was busy but we were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Our serverwas Verena. She was very friendly and helpful and she got us coffee quickly and she kept the hot coffee refills coming ontime. Our order arrived fast also. We both wanted T-bone steak and eggs. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. And tastedwonderful. They were tender as well. Our eggs and sides were equally delicious. Verena delivered flawlessly and we enjoyedourselves. Food was horrible, sauce was burt like it had been left over and cooked again and again. Server acted she wanted to be any... place but there. Cheese sticks tasted like fish. Sauce on the right was original one they gave us, after speaking to the servershe said no it shouldn't look like this and gave us the one on the left, it might have looked better but not tasted any betterthats for sure. About 2 hours after eating I got pretty sick, I cant be 100% sure it was from the food but I felt fine beforeeating there. I also asked twice if they could change the channel to the on they had in the entry way and the second time Iasked I was given a nasty attitude and the channel was never changed. Driving from New York to North Carolina we needed to stop and stretch our legs, grab a bite to eat, you know the normal when... traveling. The only difference is there are 10 of us. We walked in and you could immediately see the look on the waitressesface. She sat us promptly (Hannah by the way) and was very patient with all of my kids and their ridiculous questions. She wasprompt and courteous the entire time!! The food was great, the service was great especially on a Sunday night with a party of10. We hope management sees this and gives you the recognition you deserve!! Hannah, you the MVP! Thanks for rocking it with asmile on your face! The world needs more people like you!! PS. We were in around 11:30pm on 7/22/22 Couldn't wait to leave! Food is decent and our server was a very sweet girl but between the... cook and one of the male servers, you couldn't hear yourself think!!! They were OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD!! Our food took longer thannormal to come, I suspect, because the cook was too engrossed about a debate about who the best rapper is. The customer don'tneed to hear the banter! Management should be more attentive. Note; the last time we were in, a few weeks ago, the food andservice were excellent. We will give it another chance some time in the future and hopefully someone there will see this reviewand work on the issue. Read more
At this location: Greeted upon arriving indoors within first 5 minutes. Seated within 7 minutes. Waited on within 10 minutes... minutes. Served within 20 minutes after seated. Food was fresh, cooked well, and served with care. Waiters were Awesome, such asfriendly, thoughtful, knowledgeable, fast, and even made my husband and I smile and laugh. Minus 1 Star because of the rude andhateful unfamiliar company of another customer who's wife had to ask him to mind what he said from his mouth. Verena was our Server. She was professional, polite, and knew the menu. Everything came out hot and fresh and she was on top of... our refills and service. She definitely is a 5 star server. Cudos to the cooks too. The food as well as the Service wasexcellent. Read more
