My family has been coming to this restaurant almost 40 years. The server knows what we order. She knows our whole family. We are... mostly vegetarian and there's nothing we have eaten that we don't enjoy. Usually always order vegetable fried rice, steam rice,vegetable egg foo young, garlic broccoli, Szechuan green beans, egg drop or sweet n sour soup and ALWAYS vegetable egg rollsor vegetable spring rolls. Not sure what?s going on with this restaurant. Been eating here for years because it was a favorite. But the last few times it?s... been mediocre. Today, awful. Won ton soup was barely warm. The sesame chicken was questionable and chewy I threw about 85% of itin the trash. Will not be back for awhile? Read more
My friend and I ordered general Tso?s and beef broccoli and were not pleased, both sauces were extremely runny hardly any... flavor. We also ordered crab rangoons they were extremely hard barely any filling. On top of that the delivery guy called andasked if we were leaving a tip before he dropped our food off when it took him over a hr and a half to drop it off when it?s a15 mins drive to our workplace. When I moved to Hagerstown, I was told repeatedly in no uncertain terms should I expect to find decent Chinese food in this... town. Thankfully I didn?t listen and found Hong Kong. While they may not be the cheapest Chinese food in the area, it?s worthit for the generous portions and consistency of their food. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. My favorites, theshrimp fried rice is loaded with shrimp and the sesame chicken is always perfectly prepared. Hong Kong has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant for 20 years. I measure all other Chinese food restaurants against this... restaurant. I have many favorites, such as egg rolls, wonton soup, chicken noodle soup, Singapore House Rice noodles, deliciouscurry, and the best Szechuan! My kids love the orange chicken and lo mein noodles.
