Ate there yesterday 10/3. The ambiance and service was overall good. I ordered a spicy lamb saag and the food wasn’t authentic... and very mild. They offered to give me another to go and when I got home and checked my food it wasn’t even the lamb saag Iordered. Very disappointed Read more
Ambience: The place has a very strong smell of some type of agarbatti (incense stick) which is quite irritating. Service:... Server was very nice and friendly. The wait time for food to come out was too long even though there were only 2 tables withcustomers at the time. Food: 1. Meat samosa. The samosa was good but the meat stuffing lacked salt and hence was liketasteless. 2. Sitar Special Biryani: Majorly disappointing. The rice was slightly burnt as you can see in the picture. Was alsovery surprised to see sweet corn in biryani. Meat was good and nicely cooked. I could also taste ghee. Overall Taste 4/10. 3.Gulab Jamun: Final nail in the coffin for disappointment. Was served soggy and falling apart gulab Jamun as can be seen in thepicture. Felt more or less like coming from Git premix. Taste 3/10. Food here is great, only a little on the expensive side of things which is unfortunate compared to the serving sizes you're... receiving. I would've given 3 stars for overall experience and price but since the waitress was amazing and had to do EVERYTHINGherself in the front end I gave 4. Normally they do have 2 people in the front but I guess they couldn't tonight (plus it is aMonday). We ended up tipping the waitress $30 (%40) because she was trying hard and was stressed.
