Food here is great, only a little on the expensive side of things which is unfortunate compared to the serving sizes you're... receiving. I would've given 3 stars for overall experience and price but since the waitress was amazing and had to do EVERYTHINGherself in the front end I gave 4. Normally they do have 2 people in the front but I guess they couldn't tonight (plus it is aMonday). We ended up tipping the waitress $30 (%40) because she was trying hard and was stressed. If the owner sees this, tellher good job :) Read more

Ate there yesterday 10/3. The ambiance and service was overall good. I ordered a spicy lamb saag and the food wasn’t authentic... and very mild. They offered to give me another to go and when I got home and checked my food it wasn’t even the lamb saag Iordered. Very disappointed Read more

Ambience: The place has a very strong smell of some type of agarbatti (incense stick) which is quite irritating. Service:... Server was very nice and friendly. The wait time for food to come out was too long even though there were only 2 tables withcustomers at the time. Food: 1. Meat samosa. The samosa was good but the meat stuffing lacked salt and hence was liketasteless. 2. Sitar Special Biryani: Majorly disappointing. The rice was slightly burnt as you can see in the picture. Was alsovery surprised to see sweet corn in biryani. Meat was good and nicely cooked. I could also taste ghee. Overall Taste 4/10. 3.Gulab Jamun: Final nail in the coffin for disappointment. Was served soggy and falling apart gulab Jamun as can be seen in thepicture. Felt more or less like coming from Git premix. Taste 3/10. If you are indian highly recommend to avoid as you will benothing but dissapointed. Read more

Conveniently located in a large shopping and hotel area, Sitar of India provides a quality, tasty Indian cuisine. Staff are... friendly, welcoming and attentive. They carefully adjust the spice heat of a dish to individual taste and go from mild (1) tovery hot (10). Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended. Read more

Ate there 3-18-22. Food was good. Appeared to have quality ingredients. Didn't know what dishes we were eating off buffet (no... signs) but mostly everything I tried was good. Would recommend to others Ate there again on 5-2-22 and ordered off menu. ordered chicken 65, vegetable samosas, garlic naan. Everything was extremely good. Recommend Sitar of India to anyone. So disappointed in the taste of the food from the buffet today. We come here every few months exclusively for this food, and the... quality is NOT the same as it was half a year ago. Looks similar; but tastes very different. Lacks the depth of spices, dimensions, and nuanced character that we've came to know from this particular style of food. Read more

Decent Indian food. It came out in a timely fashion. I had the thali (vegetarian) and an order of somos a. The samosa was golden... brown, cooked perfectly. It was nice to get a sample of the foods. I would have liked just a bit more rice. I like nan but theserving size was a little too big and I would rather have gotten more pappadum The server was very helpful. Seemed to know thefood. Gave me my check without asking even though I told them I wasn’t in a hurry. Now, it was lunchtime and a lot ofrestaurants automatically give you your check without asking for the midday meal. I didn’t want to feel rushed and it was mydinner time. I was asked for how spicy. Always a tricky thing. For many people mild does not mean no spice, it means mildlyspiced. Medium can often be pretty spicy. I like my Chana spicy and my saag mild. So I said mild to medium. It could have beenspicier. The samosas were kind of dull flavor wise but there was sauces to go with them. I travel a lot and eat Indian food allover. While this isn’t at the top of my list it’s a good solid ranking and I’d go back. Read more
