I have not eaten at Friday’s in several years and yesterday I decided to go there and give it a try. It was one of the best... experiences I had at a restaurant. I completely underestimated how good the food would be. The staff was also extremelyfriendly. I don’t remember the name of the exact waitress that took my order, but she was very kind. Went to eat here after opening night of our show last night. My friend, who is a veteran, was charged 10x her actual bill (the... bartender who processed the check accidentally added an extra zero). Emphasis on accidentally. This can be fixed, but the waythe manager handled it was awful. She came out with an attitude toward the server, was threatening to punch the bartender outloud, and even caught an attitude with my friend who is a veteran btw and Veterans Day was yesterday. My daughter, husband, and I decided to eat dinner there since it had been awhile. The mashed potatoes and the broccoli were... delicious. My daughter and I got the sirloin. Hers was to be medium rare and mine was to be medium. Both of them were way overcooked. We brought it to the waiter's attention. As soon as he came to the table he knew right away what was wrong. Wanted to stop by a TGI Fridays and see if any changes since the last time I visited one (over 3 years at least). The happy... hour drink menu which is all day btw has something for everyone at a good price. The menu gives you a nice selection ofdifferent things. The place was clean (until it starts to rain) and the employees were friendly. I had the wings and I shouldsay WOW! I wonder how small the chicken's they use just for the fact that the wings are so small I think I got a out a teaspoonof meat off of each wing. They were good but would not order again because I like meat on the wings I eat. Also hope you getthat front door area repaired and do something about the flys. Read more
Was a little disappointed. The tandoori chicken fajitas were novel, but the Nan bread fajita substitutes were a little small.... The skillet steak wasn't worth it, seemed like skewers of steak overcooked. Staff friendly and attentive. Desserts looked priceybut huge ... Perhaps better suited to two people for sharing Read more
My husband and I stopped here on Wednesday night. The place was empty except for maybe 4 other tables. Our server promptly... attended to us and got our drink order. We ordered and when our food came it was not what I remembered. Now granted it has beena few years since I’ve been here but you could tell they have cut costs and substituted the quality. My husband ordered theflat iron steak (which used to be our favorite) but it was very disappointing. He ordered it medium, but it was definitely madewell done. The steak was nothing but gristle. He still tried to eat it, but there was honestly nothing worth eating. Also theamazing cheddar mash potatoes from before are now just instant mush. I ordered the fried shrimp and it was definitely smallerand sub par from what it used to be. We also had the bang bang shrimp appetizer. That had good flavor but both types of shrimpwere severely over cooked and chewy. We brought the steak issue to the servers attention right away. He did go and try to fixthe problem with management but by this point we were so disgusted with the meal we just wanted to leave. My husband didn’teat the steak or any of the sides. Instead he ate a few of my shrimp and fries. The manager took 15% off the steak meal. Assomeone who has been in the restaurant industry for 27 years, 6 of which were as a General Manager, this was very bad customerservice. The steak meal should have been taken off the bill completely. Also a manager should have come and addressed thesituation at our table. We never saw a manager the entire time we were there. We will not be back and if this is the practice ofthis restaurant, then it will not be open at this location for much longer. We ended up paying for a night out and leaving stillhungry. Good service and taste. The rest of my family had a good experience. Can't say mine was aweful but hoped for more. I was hoping... for sweet tea but was told they were out of it at 2pm. We could get unsweetened which for me isn't a killer but does tell me youare really out of a main product in sugar which is a bit odd. Regardless, not my main point to make as I really hate writingthese since everyone takes things so overboard. I ordered the large traditional order of wings since I saw the Monday salesaying the were 50 cents and since wing costs have come back down in price by half it was nice to see a retailer try to passthat back on instead of keep it as profit. Got the dish which explains why they were cheaper on the promo day but today wasn'tthat day so I believe these cost about 19.00. The were sooooo tiny. All of them. I would guess if these went by weight it wouldby slightly over a pound for 16. When the average should be about 2lbs. Hardly any meat on these things. I understand pricesare up on almost everything, but at the end of the day I just gave you 95.00 for hardly anything (3 kids meals, a pasta plattersome wings and fries and the drinks).
