In general the food was good. The rice lacked flavor and the beef had a rather strange texture.
I see alot of complaints about portion size. There is no issue with portion size. This is standard Canadian Chinese food. They... have good hours and fair prices. You aren't going to be blown away, but you'll get what you're expecting if you go into it withthat in mind. They are busy and often have long wait times which is to be expected when the public likes your product. All thepeople that say they wont be back won't be missed I'm sure. Read more
See the image attached...picture is worth of thousand words...in a few words: Not very good at all...almost as bad as the pizza... store beside this Chinese kitchen. In my picture, you can see $12 worth of the whole BBQ chicken I bought in local Foodland...and the $13 plate of Kung Pao chicken dinner from this kitchen beside it...NOT MUCH meat at all on that plate. Mostly carrots,celery, and onions????. The same thing with their garlic beef dinner..not much beef in it..but a lot of vegetables?!.... Nothappy with those plates...( unless you like to pay $13 for steamed celery). I will not go there again....NO..thank you. Read more
Called in order 5:18 .....told 20 - 25 mins ......arrived 25 mins later 549 told it would be a few more mins received order at... 6:19 ...food was cold Read more
Placed an order at 4:30 today was told it wouldn?t be a problem to pick up for 6pm, went to pick it up and there were about 30... angry people waiting for orders from 5pm still. At 6:40 they told us it would be at least another 40 minutes until our food wasready because our order still wasn?t even started. We cancelled the order and left. This has happened a few times now and thelast time we ordered there was food missing from our order. We will not be back. Read more
Placed our order at 6:04 pm and were told it would be 35 minutes. Arrived at 6:40 and didn?t get our order until 7:49. I sat... inside and listened to them take order after order and tell every customer 35 minutes. The place was packed with angry customerswho also were waiting 2 hours for their food. When I complained I was offered a 10% discount, which I declined because thatwas insulting. The food is mediocre. Will not be back and instead will drive the 30 minutes to Brantford. Ordered at 4:05 and was told 30 minutes. Went to pickup at 40 minute mark and was told would be a couple more minutes. Walked... out with "order" at 5:20 checked my order and was missing one item. Went back in and was told "sorry it must not have gottenadded". So my partial order was ready in 1 hr and 15 minutes instead of the 30. NOT pleased but the food is good! Read more
Friendly service. Food in general was good, just the rice was kind of bland, and the beef had a strange texture.
