It was a Friday night, my daughter?s birthday and she loves sushi! So we went to dangs! Her choice for her birthday dinner,... we?ve eaten there so many times before, but tonight was different! It was 5pm, not your usual time on a Friday to encounter adinner rush in Hailey Idaho. We ran into dangs and were told it would be about a 1.5 hr wait. The kind gentleman assisting myfamily and I offered to call other restaurants to see if we can get in. We politely declined and started calling around . Afterstepping out for a brief moment with little to no success in finding a different restaurant. I stepped back in to receivewonderful news that a table had opened up for us! WOW! We felt so blessed and sat and settled on looking over the great menu onwhat to order. My daughter loves sushi so we ordered her a roll to share with her sisters and we also ordered rolls forourselves and egg rolls. The chef special rolls are so big! They are delicious and a great value and made adjustments withoutconcern to my liking! The owner asked my daughter what desert she wanted for her birthday because birthdays are important! Hesurprised her! The staff brought out the ice cream with a candle and sang to her! They also gifted her a very cute Thai coinpurse! We then thanked the owner and the staff for giving my family and I such a wonderful experience! Not to mention ourwaitress was happy to take a picture outside for us! We felt so special, thank you! As a new local, I can safely say that Dang Thai is my favorite restaurant by far. My boyfriend and I eat here all the time, the... food is so delicious and the staff are great. Dang is always very personable and accommodating, and it reflects in the food.From the sushi to the noodle dishes, everything is honestly fantastic. It's dang good! Read more
After not finding many great food options in Hailey (except Jhony's, definitely try that place, too!), we decided to give Dang's... a shot. We made a phone order for takeout, got our food, and wandered over to Draper Preserve for a picnic. We were pleasantlysurprised! Dang's was really really good! Definitely give it a shot! This was a great place to eat. Cozy seating and a warm atmosphere. The food is terrific and if you want to eat outside, there... are some partitions so you don?t feel like your on the street! Had a very good dinner there with a coconut vegetable broth and the duck curry. Very tasty and well prepared but both dishes... were too salty for my taste. They have a lot of sushi as well. Friendly staff. Great location. Very clean inside. Prices arereasonable for the location. Read more
