Good comfortable food, nice staffing, and ordering is simple via phone.
My friend & I stopped in for luve music on the patio & enjoyed both the music & the patio. Unfortunately we were less than wowed... by the two red wine choices & will be having a cocktail the time we visit. The patio is enclosed & features a variety ifseating- padded benches, metal table/chair sets & pub tables which I generally like. The patio was full for the dinner hour on aFriday night, but the restaurant, not so much. Despite several individuals coming out to the patio, we were told that tableservice only provided food, so we had to go in to get our drinks which was a bit odd to me. But the music was good, the patiowas fun, the interior is spacious & the help is friendly, so we will be back. Read more
Can't believe I waited this long to have dinner here! Service was excellent as was the food. Jenni the owner takes the time to... make the rounds and make everyone feel at home. The local talent on Friday night really added to the dining experience. Just areally nice vibe! Read more
My folks and I stopped here for a cocktail and dinner on a Saturday night. We opted to sit inside even though the patio was... super cute and were taken care of by a sweet waiter named Liam who did a wonderful job. The shrimps were good and so was thecrab mac (albeit a little spendy) and the decor was lovely too. We ordered drinks and ending up sending them back to the barbecause the pop dispenser seemed to be shooting flat soda but overall the experience was pleasant and we all agreed we?d returnon our next stop through town. I saw a Facebook post about a surf and turf dish that was offered, from Morgan. And it looked delicious. I phoned in a sit down... order, and it was brought straight to me after (maybe) a 5 minute wait. Not only was I taken care of drink wise while I waited,but the dish I was served looked exactly like what I was expecting. Sky is one of the best cooks, i would recommend The Mint 10out of 10 times every day of the week. Robin Shaw sure knows how to run a place! Read more
Originally when the place first opened the food was amazing and the service was kind of speedy. But now it is the polar... opposite. If you are looking for a place to get a quick bite or not to mess up an order DO Not go here. The management ishorrible and we had to wait over an hour and a half for food. Only to have half the orders messed up one way or another. One ofthe orders was a plain hamburger with bacon. Not only was everything on it, it was the last one to come out around 5 mins afterthe rest! This place is loud with no barriers in between the bar and dining room. There is little noise barriers and I ended upgetting a headache from the noise. The food was also mediocre. I would recommend not coming here unless you don't have anythingelse to do tonight and/or want a disappointing meal. Read more
The place has been boarded up for most my life, so I was excited to see it reopen. The food was good, and the interior nice, but... customer service is everything. The first time I was in for dinner with the family and the host was arrogant to say the least;his nose upturned consistently. The last time was just me for a drink which I didn?t even have because I can?t relax when thebartender glares at me without saying hi.. the whole time. The female staff was all wonderful though, and the short-hairedbartender was nice as well. Read more
Personally, I love this place. The setting is awesome! Other than that, not a great experience. You have to do everything for... yourself (get drinks and place orders) and the crowd felt really yuppy. Read more
