The Bamboo Room Restaurant advertises their famous fish & chips. I have eaten a lot of fish & chips in my life, and I have to... say this truly is one of the best. Had the best time here this past Saturday. Stopped in for a beer and an appetizer and Lauren my server was fantastic. Very... pleasant, accommodating and funny. I'm not from Haines so to be made to feel so welcome and at home there was most appreciated. Read more
The soup of the day mushroom and rice was absolutely delicious! The bacon cheddar burger was very good!
Not an expert on Halibut fish & chips, but mine was absolutely delicious. I could have hung out there all day eating that. Cold... beer, good slaw, crispy fries and juicy, tender but meaty fish that was mild and fresh tasting. The batter was crispy and not atall greasy. Scrumptious!!! Read more
