Department of health and sanitation needs to re-evaluate their passing grade on this location. It?s disgusting. The woman who... runs it is very rude and the place is so run-down. Ceiling tiles have tape holding them up, signs in the window have been tapedand re-taped with bugs stuck all over them. Half the tables have junk on them and can?t be used to sit. There is a small tablealong the wall that is held up with a pretty old cardboard box that houses all the sauces. Everything is sticky. The entirefront counter is blocked off with rope so you have to order at a table. The broom is sitting by the door and is crusted withblack gunk and hair. Old, Run down, hot and cramped. Clearly L&L doesn't care about their brand name as this place is not about anything. Food was... mediocre at best, but was pretty disappointed. Even the locals inside with us where disappointed. Kailua pig is mostly cabbage,don't bother. Read more
Not tourist friendly. The restaurant looked dirty, all of the tables had junk sitting on them, leaving no place to sit in the... restaurant. We did not eat here due to how rude they were when we entered. Read more
The people that run this location are dismissive and rude. For a restaurant that's centrally located in Hale'iwa that gets a lot... of tourist traffic, they need to seriously step up their hospitality game. I'm very disappointed. Other locations are friendlyand kind. These people here, can't be bothered to say hello back or thank you. Read more
On da North Shore area and tired of SHRIMP? Then go to LnL and order BBQ chicken MINI With BROWN rice... forces them to cook... fresh meat.... (some places will give you a 'take order' that was never picked up). so always order brown rice! Read more
This review dosen't even deserve 1 star but to write a review I had to at least give 1. The food was disgusting! I ordered the... lemon chicken and a plain cheeseburger for my son. I took 1 bite of each and was so grossed out. The mac salad was the onlyacceptable item and I couldn't take more than one bite. The chicken looked old and tasted off as well as the rice and the beeffor the burger. Something was not right about this food. My gut told me no when I came up and the place was empty, looked dirty,the cook was eating an apple right in the front and the lady who took the order was on the phone, could barely understand herand was not in any means personable or professional. I threw our food out immediately and ordered mcdonalds which tasted tentimes better. 20 bucks for nothing. BEWARE!!! Read more
The reviews were right. We ordered 2 plates and we couldn?t eat them. Beef was definitely old and the seasoning very strong to... disguise. Rice looked like it was reheated many times. They only take cash, so can?t even get a refund. Just threw the foodaway and went to another restaurant. Lesson learned... Read more
Great food at a easy to find road side stop. Lots of cool touristy stuff inside. Got a shirt!
