Very enjoyable experience. Walked over for breakfast. Got corned beef hash and Portuguese sausage meals that were very filling... with generous portions. The best iced tea we've ever had anywhere at any time! We had to go back in and buy two more for theroad. :) Coffee was very mild flavor, but good as well. Picnic tables just outside offering lots of seating. It got busy with aline well out the door just after we arrived about 9:05am. Read more
5 stars for the pie! (Get the Chocolate Haupia Pie) Fun stop off for food and treats. We got there at 1040ish morning and they... were done serving breakfast. We ordered a mini plate Spicy Shrimp and a full plate Lemon Chicken and a slice of chocolatehaupia pie and macadamia cream pie. So delicious and filling. The pre-sliced pies are located in a fridge on theleft. Awesome: -They really serve so much food, so the mini plate was a good option if you need a smaller portion. - The spicyshrimp was amazing. Like big shrimp with a great sauce and good spice! Good plate lunches and even better dessert. We were here years ago and it was as good as we remembered. The pies are not too... sweet and have good texture contrast between the crumbly crust and creamy filling. I wish I had read the other reviews first andtried their shrimp. Read more
My family enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Ted's Bakery. We ordered several of the sandwiches available along with some pastries for... desserts. The facility offers out door seating and is located just a few minutes from some really nice beaches. If you are in itfor a long roadtrip with the family, I recommend adding Ted's Bakery for breakfast or lunch. Great food!!! Read more
Stopped by this place on the way to Sunset beach. We walked right up to the counter and in seconds the line grew quick. Best... Portuguese sausage we?ve had on the island. Pies have local flavors only found in Hawaii. All yum! Outdoor seatingplentiful. There?s additional shaded seating across the parking lot that is cooler and away from the main area. We just got back from Oahu and we stayed right by Ted's. We went there for every breakfast and dinner. The pies are yummy and... the thing that made us laugh was that every morning there were people there eating pie for breakfast every time. So we did thesame. Every meal we got we also had a piece of pie too. I loved them all. The breakfast food and dinner food was really yummy aswell. The sunset sandwich is so good! I've heard the delicious rumors about Ted's Bakery, and I am delighted to support their validity. We ordered both dinner and... desserts and started with dessert 1st. The cream puff that I enjoyed was an absolute work of art. Speaking as an ex-army nightbaker, who used to make cream puffs from scratch, mine did not hold a candle to the chocolate filled deliciousness ofTed's. The garlic shrimp was completely peeled, and hit every flavor note. The teriyaki beef was flavor perfection. I'd highlyrecommend them, and will definitely visit again soon. Read more
This was our family?s favorite meal while on the north shore. My husband said that the teriyaki steak burger was the best meal... he had all week and the macaroni salad is incomparable. I suggest ordering a large as it?s easily 3x the amount of food as asmall for just a few extra dollars. 2 large entrees fed myself and 4 kids with extras! The pie is a must, of course. AlthoughI?d rate it a 4/5 compared to most people. It is nice, refreshing treat after a day at the beach though. Read more
