If possible, I would highly recommend you avoid this place. Absurdly unkind and terrible service because the rude and... intimidating appears-to-be owner/chef will say, "go away" when you ask a question. I ordered three dishes that cost 16 dollarseach, which sums up to 48 dollars, but at the order kiosk, it came out to be over 55 dollars. So I asked what other extra chargeis in-between because even with 4.71% state tax, it should be around 50 dollars. When I asked this question, the guy said thefollowing: "just go. Go away!" I asked, "what's the matter?" He said, "because your question annoys me" and then kept insultingpeople. I must have asked a pretty valid question. This place has been ripping off naive customers with hidden charges (above15%). Further, foods are very greasy, contributing to high LDL cholesterols that cause heart attacks and stroke. This food was amazing! Some of the best Thai food ever.
I?m currently eating the best Thai food I?ve had in my 20 years of sampling thai?and most of it is veg/vegan. The sling took a... bit, but worth the wait! Get the Ganesha Larb. We also had Panang curry and it was the best curry I?ve ever had slightlymargining Cafe Za, Eri Cushing?s thaii curry. I came across this food truck when I looked for the gas station. I had pad tai with chicken and shrimp, and it was really... great! More importantly, the staff was really nice. Actually, there was something wrong with access to its online order websitethrough my mobile phone, even worse, I didn't have enough money in cash to buy it. But the staff helped me to order through hermobile phone but with my credit card info, eventually i could make it! I really appreciate her kindness! Read more
Great food, tastes amazing BUT they will mess up something major in your order without fail. Last 3 times I?ve ordered from... Sunset location: 1) Thai iced tea was filled with spoiled milk and tasted NASTY. Pad Thai ordered with veggies and Tofu camewith only the tofu. 2) ordered panang curry and it was half the portion of a previous time I ordered. 3) had to wait 45minutes past scheduled pickup, I get it there?s a labor shortage and a chef quit, but then I opened up my chicken pad Thai andfound an actual entire egg shell in my noodles. I'm giving this a five star review because of the quality and taste of the food!!! It was remarkable! I'm originally from Sydney... so I've had incredible Thai food all of my life. These tastes were ON POINT! I had the Basil shrimp, but I also tried the padthai, green curry and pad se ew. All were incredible. I should have tried the Pad kee moa as that is my favorite dish. Piecesof feedback however - your prices are pretty dang high - to get a "large" basil shrimp it cost me over $20 and it was mostlyrice... there were say 6-7 pieces of shrimp? The rest was beans and basil which was cooked and seasoned phenomenally, however ifI'm paying that much I'd hope to have a bit more shrimp. In addition, the wait and service could have been SO much better.Honestly, if I was rating just the service it'd easily be two or even one stars. So hopefully there's improvement there.
