My step dad and I visited for our regular father daughter dinner. I did lots of research trying to find a new steakhouse we both... had not yet been to. Diamond Jim's was excellent- drinks were great, the food was fresh and delicious and the prices gave youexcellent vale for the money. We had an amazing time, the staff was kind and had great recommendation for wine and dessert. Totop it off the owner came out and offered us a drink on the house. Charming place, great food, highly recommend you visit! Read more

Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and had a good charbroil on it. Clam chowder was good, clams weren't chewy in the soup,... but tender. Best Banana Cream pie I've had, made from scratch with a good pecan crumb crust that gave another flavor dimensionto this pie. I wanted another slice....yes it's that good. Staff was all very nice and the food was hot and served in a goodamount of time for it being busy. Reservations are only taken for parties of 6 or more, so plan ahead to wait if you have under6 people.....but the wait is worth it for really good food. Will definitely be coming back. Read more

First time I've dined at Diamond Jim's for my birthday with my dearest friend and her mother who have dined here several times... and always bragged! I live on the other side of town, but couldn't wait to dine here.....well I walked in and felt so welcomeand cozy. Our server was Carrie, she was friendly, funny and the service was fantastic as well as our meals. My filet was aperfect med. rare and delicious as everything else. The homemade banana pie was to die for and tasted even better. A wonderfultime was had by all!!! Read more

Ok so I?ve drive by this place 30000 times and felt like it was gonna be a hit or miss. Definitely a hit , the place is exactly... what you would expect, feels like your at ya grandma house for the holidays how the staff treats ya and the steaks were reallygood. (I suggest the ribeye myself) had my kid with me and although kid menu non existent (it?s a supper club so to be expected)the mozzarella sticks were a big win (she even had some Cesar salad ????) prices are on point also. My recommendation is theribeye with the baked potato or the double baked if your fancy and a old fashioned ??????? Read more

This was our first time at Diamond Jim's and we were all very pleased - well one person in our group didn't listen to anything... the hostess and waitress were saying so she was displaying an attitude. I feared she was making us look like the "problemtable." They are currently short staffed - which the hostess let us know up front - so even though there was a little longerperiod between appearances by our waitress we were fine with it because she was obviously hustling and still took very good careof us. We all agreed that our entrees were fabulous - in our group we had the broiled chicken (mine and SO tasty), 2 people hadscallops in garlic butter, and one person had salmon. There was never feeling of being rushed. We had one little ACTUAL snafuwhen the young man refilling our glasses knocked one over (full) and it came cascading toward me like a title wave. I was ableto push my chair back in time and did not get a lap full. He was very sweet and VERY apologetic. Accidents happen. No one washurt. We all ordered dessert. I had the banana cream pie picture here. Heavenly. SO much banana. I do recommend DiamondJim's for a nice meal out and great service even under the pressures of being short staffed. We all just need to put aside thatinstant gratification garbage and spend time IN the moment and time WITH each other. Who cares if it takes a little longer, youstill get a great meal. It's just more time with great company. Read more

If your looking for a classic Wisconsin old fashion, this is not your place. They use 1oz mix, 1oz bourbon, I asked for a... muddled old fashion and was told no,this is how we make them here! All around terrible cocktails, food was middle of the road, service was good. Read more

Great experience! Went first time to try out the fish fry and ended up trying a few extra options. Wait time for early Friday... evening was a bit longer than expected but worth the wait. Server was friendly and helpful, very positive attitude even thoughshe was really busy. Everything looked and tasted homemade, it was delicious. We usually just order dinner and drinks but afterseeing another table order it, we had to try the banana cream pie. Highly recommend it if you don't fill up on other food. Onlynegative was the space. Tables were very close to each other so our chairs were nearly touching the neighboring chairs. Read more
