A completely different & great experience. Family oriented , spacious , with outside, inside sitting, great service & awesome... staff. There?s free parking & a shop inside where you can purchase gifts, beer & apparel. They give tours, which I haven?t beento yet but will definitely get tickets for soon. Only slight issue I had was that some items weren?t available on the menu for adessert I ordered, they brought me half of the desserts & some fruit items were missing. If anyone could have just let me know Iprobably wouldn?t of gotten upset. I?ll be 100% transparent, check out the picture of the description & what actually wasbrought to me. I was accommodated with other extra items after asking, which I shouldn?t of had to ask for ?where?s the rest??or why certain fruits were missing, but they didn?t make me aware ahead or else I would of probably canceled the order.Everything is on the menu as plural & definitely wasn?t as it was brought to me. Managment was helpful & apologized. Everythingelse was amazing, very clean & even for a Saturday there wasn?t a long wait which I loved. Ashley at the bar is very attentive &all the bartenders came by consistently to ask if I needed anything. The customer service was 10/10. There was live musicoutside & a fantastic atmosphere. We came to this location because we couldn't go hiking at the nearby park. But it was a good experience. We had a fruit... Guinness beer which was pretty good (not a beer drinker), old bay wings (small but tasty), and fries with a crab sauce and bits. The atmosphere was lively and fun. I do want to note that their restaurant was different from a service perspective. Althoughthey have a large staff, when u get to a table you view the menu from a bar code via your phone camera on the table and orderand pay for your food online. You can even opt for an open tab. If you're not tech savvy this could pose a problem as thestaff walks by without the usual checks of other typical restaurants. Our table neighbors had this exact issue. Because weweren't used to this set up we didn't order ourselves water, extra plates, or take home bags so we had to ask the cleaner forthose items. For that reason I gave this place 4 stars. Not sure I'm a fan of this set up. I actually like the interactionwith the staff and getting suggestions of which food items that are best to eat vs doing everything online in the restaurant. However, overall it was a good visit. They do offer tours but you have to schedule them online. Read more
5/15/22 I have been to Guinness Brewery in Dublin and also Maryland. The Maryland Guinness Brewery has me wrapped around their... finger and I keep coming back for more. The service is always above and beyond, the food is exceptional and the beer selectionis off the charts. They have a wonderful gift shop where you can purchase beer to-go, coffee mugs, magnets, sweaters andeverything in between. I?ve never had a bad experience and love their flights of beer. There is ample seating inside andoutside. There is plenty of parking and everywhere is handicap accessible. One of my favorite menu items is the beer cheese andtheir twister potato fries. Will definitely be back again and am looking forward to trying their fish tacos this summer! Read more
One of the best breweries in DMV. This place has plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. If you are a fan of Guinness, this... is a perfect spot for you. There are a lot of parking spaces. I always go for the flight to taste a wide variety of beers. Youcan also sign up for a tour of the brewery to see how Guinness beers are made there, which was pretty interesting. I also hadsome snacks and desserts that perfectly complemented different beers. The place gets packed really fast, so I would try to goearly to get the table especially on a nice sunny day. We celebrated Valentines Day here and it was a fun experience. The tour and tasting is definitely recommended . The atmosphere... and staff is very fun and friendly. They have a beautiful outside area for the spring time. The food selection wasn?t asexpected. Their menu changes daily so what we hoped to have wasn?t on the menu. The crab flat break didn?t have too much crab init rather more cheese. The fries were delicious! Would certainly come back in the spring ! Read more
What a great time we had at NEW Years Day Brunch. The facility is impressive. The restaurant was bright, massive and well... staffed with attentive attendants. The beer selection was inventive and delicious. I had a Blueberry Lime Pint that Iloved. Our breakfast choices were both home runs. The Traditional Irish Breakfast and the Guinness Beef Stew. We cannot waitto visit again and spend more time with a tour and another meal. Read more
5 stars for the food, and the beer. 4 stars for the tour. The tour is short, with much talking. If you want a lot of details and... facts but not a lot of sights and views of the process, this is the tour for you. Three generous samples at the end. The foodwas amazing. Very fresh oysters, the crab cake was delicious and fresh. Brown bread is great. Good prices high and you have toorder through your phone, which is a bit off putting, but it came fast and staff were friendly. Read more
Had an excellent experience at the only Guinness Brewery and Tap room in the US! The size of the property is extensive and... includes the Tap Room, production brewery, beer garden, and barrel racking houses. I had the Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, whichI believe is the original beer Guinness produced; I was very pleased with my choice. If you decide to grab a meal I would highlysuggest eating in the tap room, as opposed to the beer garden, because you'll want to have the Guinness Stew. There's no betterplace to get homemade stew than from the place that makes the beer! It was by far the BEST Guinness stew I've ever had! I willdefinitely return for more! Read more
