There was a festival going on. We weren't part of that. We were on the left coast for a family function when we fell into this... place looking for a beer. It was early lunch time. My wife and I sat at the bar. The gal behind the bar was a traveling nursefrom England. Having been to London a few times, we struck up a conversation. When we got to food, my wife got the lobstergrilled cheese with garlic fries. She really liked it. I tried some of the fries and they were very good. Crisp on theoutside, tender on the inside with lots of garlic flavor. I got had the Cameron's burger, medium, with the bean salad. Theburger was great. Fresh, juicy and full of flavor, make sure to get an extra napkin. If you like burgers, I don't think you'llbe disappointed. The bean salad was better than I expected too. Halfway through our meal the owner, pretty sure he was theowner, jumped behind the bar. He was amazing to watch. I've been a bartender in a past life, but this guy was good. Bottomline, we had a good time. We had good service, good food and good drink, and even some good banter. And, the relativelyauthentic English pub decor is fun. Fun experience out-of-the-blue, so we give five stars to Cameron's. Thanks! Read more
If you've driven Hwy 1 you've probably spotted the red bus or the giant pumpkin. Ordered: ???? Nice enough but a cup of coleslaw comes with everything it seems. Mash potatoes seemed off. Great atmosphere but night we... were there they had a singer... who shouldn't... ever... again. Read more
A great pub with brilliant personality! Every inch of the walls is covered with something interesting, the staff are fantastic... and friendly, and there are tons of fun things to do (arcade games, trivia, live music). Definitely a must see if you?re passingthrough HMB! Read more
