Fast friendly service and very tasty food! We especially enjoyed the beef patties. Also had the jerk chicken with rice and beans... and veggies. The chicken was super tasty and cooked perfectly but was not spicy. The jerk seasoning was pretty tame so it wasn'tjerk chicken like we expected but nonetheless, it was delicious! Read more
Being Jamaican, I'm always looking for an authentic Jamaican experience here in Canada. I start this review off this way just to... say that I've been in Canada for over 10 years and this has been the best experience in terms of food, atmosphere and serviceI've experienced here. Kind of felt a little bit like I was home. We were pleasantly greeted when we got there and our food wasamazing. Usually I stick with rice and peas and chicken just based on my experience here but was pleasantly surprised when wewent for the oxtail and the pork as well and found it to be so good. It's not only the best experience I've had in Nova Scotia,but being in Ontario for close to 10 years, it's the best there as well. Well worth checking out. Tip: try the June plum juice. Read more
Customer service was on point at this place!! The food was also quite good. They actually had stuff they advertise on their... menu, flavours of the Jerk chicken and pork were great. Also enjoyed the festival. Soup could use a tad more salt. Chickenpatty was just ok, but overall, this place is worth a visit and cops a 5/5. Read more
Ordered one large and one medium jerk chicken. They were full of flavour and portions were reasonable. With medium you get two... pieces of chicken and three with a large. They both come with rice and vegetables. You can also get curry gravy with this dish.We tried the plantains for the first time ever. They were good. Overall a great place to eat. Read more
I had the ?DOUBLE TROUBLE? (1) One Plate with (2) two meats. I chose Curry Goat and Oxtail for my two meats with a side order of... Plantain. It was delicious. My daughter ordered the jerk chicken I sampled that too and it was so tasty. Highly recommend. Read more

Just moved to Halifax and I miss Toronto so much? Anywho! Tried this place out and I was very pleased with the customer service!... Went in Sunday afternoon and it was quiet (much like Halifax). I ordered the small bbq chicken with festivals for $13ish.Portions are smaller than I?m used to and the rice & peas was very bland in my opinion. It?s a nice, quick stop for a bite toeat, didn?t wait long at all. Definitely will return :) mostly due to the amazing customer service. The oxtail will determinethe real updated review. Read more
How do you miss the mark on curry goat and oxtail as a Jamaican restaurant???? This was beyond bland. I paid about $30 for the... double trouble plate and all I go was 2 pieces of bland oxtail, couple chunks of goat and lots of potatoes and bone. If you wantpatties , you?re better off buying from the frozen aisle in Walmart. I?d give a 0/5 if I could. Read more
