This place is amazing, the food is incredible. The staff is amazing and I got a chance to speak to the owner who is absolutely... one of the most caring kind hearted people that takes pride in the cuisine, service and overall experience. The tea is a musthave with or after any meal. The fries though a source of debate are unbelievably amazing. One of if not the best unique cuisinerestaurants in all of Halifax maybe even the east coast. We also came in just a little before closing time and they never rushedus and gave us time to finish and fully enjoy the meal. Warning: not a lot of vegetarian/vegan options but the few that arethere are amazing. Read more

I ordered the salad to start and the couscous chicken dish. Both were incredible; the salad was actually three different types... and both has unique and delicious flavours unlike anything I’ve had before. The chicken couscous was a savoury meal thatincluded several type of veggies. It was a lot of food so I was able to take it home for dinner the next day! The service wasextremely friendly and went through each course with me and my partner because it was our first time experiencing Moroccan food.We will definitely be back soon! Read more

We got the chicken pastilla and lamb shank tagine with confit apricots, almonds and couscous.\n\nService was nice (only one... server was working and he had to deal with the entire restaurant). They provide bread and olives as part of dinner.\n\nThe lambshank was wonderfully cooked and the apricots with almond were very flavourful, a sweetness that I don\'t normally eat with lambwhich worked very well! The pastilla was a very interesting combination of sweet and savory, the filo pastry was very crisp andthe filling had multiple layers and notes of cinnamon, herb cooked chicken, and almond. It was a bit dryer in texture which weassume is the normal method to prepare the dish; make sure you have a beverage on hand. Overall a wonderful little resto thatoffers an excellent introduction to morrocan cuisine. Read more

Our first experience dining-in to a restaurant in 2+ years of traveling through Canada during the pandemic. Everything was... perfect— appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Relaxing after the meal with a pot of moroccan mint tea? Bliss.\n\nWonderful peopleand service as well.\n\nLooking forward to eating here again before we leave Halifax! Read more
