I don't even know how to start this review! This joint was recommended by a co-worker. With my family we decided to try the... family combo! It's was not a disappointment, it was a pleasant surprise. The Chicken was seasoned well beyond expectations.Brussels Sprouts are a must-try. Whoever came up with this version of Crispy BS(Brussels Sprouts) is a GENIUS. HE/SHE should bekissed on his/her brains. Macaroni was great. The star of the combo was the ROASTED POTATOES!!! I MEAN ???? ?? ???? ????. TheFries were okay, crispy enough for the early part of the meal, not a big fan of fries with skin on. That's just me. But theseasoning on it was perfect, just not enough to overcome my dislike of skin-fries. Service was good enough for a five starreview. Going back to try the sandwiches soon! Service was great, staff was friendly and the chicken burger was okay, the lettuce was a little brown for my liking and the... chicken was nicely cooked/crunchy. Just a tip, if you're going to refrigerate you hamburger buns before proofing and bakingthem be sure to cover them very well. That will make them look a lot better and more appealing. I got ?The Spicy? and boy was it delicious! I had heard lots about this place and as a Fried chicken lover, so I had my eyes... set on this place for some time! The batter was great, they use the thigh (dark meat) so lots of flavour. All the ingredientswere quality and with the hot oil dip this little fried thigh got infused with the chillie oil taste (which is a mild heat btw).I really enjoyed the sandwich but would have preferred more heat on it ( like Nashville hot chicken). I did find the sandwichquite heavy on the gut and my wife struggled with finishing - None the less, highly recommend this place as a MUST TRY and willbe back for more to try the rest of their menu. Eaten here a few times and it doesn't seem to disappoint. Loved their new special sandwich, it had the perfect blend of sweet,... spicy and crunchy. Fries are a MUST-HAVE. Definitely recommend. Read more
Just had the best poutine and chicken burger I've ever had at CHKN chop. Food was ready quick, was hot/fresh, and it was... absolutely delicious. Just perfection. The staff was excellent as well. 10/10 would recommend! Read more
