We tried the cheese one and the ramen noodle dog. Both were delicious although the cheese one was 1/2 and 1/2, we weren?t sure... what that meant but you only get half a hot dog in the bottom part and all cheese in the top half. Very tasty though! Read more
I?m so happy I visited this place. This is a must have if you live in Halifax or nearby. Th hot dogs or corn dogs were... absolutely scrumptious. Lots of choices to choose from. Order was ready in 4-5 mins even during medium rush. Service was great.Prices are not bad(worth it). There?s also a choice to coat flakes, ramen or sweet potato on then and then have variety ofsauces and powders as well for garnishment. Would definitely recommend this Halifax favorite. Read more
Tried Korean rice dogs for the first time today and they were amazing! Got the Chung Chun combo and loved the sauces the... restaurant recommended. My favorite was the ramen chip sausage and my wife really enjoyed the sweet potato sausage. The mozzadog had a great pull! Will be back again! Read more
Ah Chung Chun, although I have only visited you once, you never did me wrong. A very small establishment in that there is just... enough room to walk in and order, Chung Chun get's the job done with an exciting take on the traditional hot dog. Not only dothey have a variety of hot dog choices (chicken, mozzarella), but then there are all sorts of crusts you can add. This is a type of Korean Street food. Fun treat much like a pogo but this is not your grocery store pogo. It has much more... flavor and a rice batter instead of a pancake batter. The chocolate is a desert all by itself!! ???????????? and the chickennugget is a meal by itself the volcano is just spicy enough overall great flavours would definitely recommend and go back. I ordered the original, half mozza, and ramen chip. All of them were absolutely fantastic. The dough was super crispy and had a... good crunch even after sitting around 30 minutes and the hot dog was quite juicy. I will say the portion sizes are pretty big soI was pretty stuffed after eating two. You get to pick your sauces so you can always come back to mix and match to try newcombos.
