Not trying to be negative but the food is one of the worst in the city. Had the Smokehouse burger and I would not recommend it.... Tasted like it was frozen, not seasoned and then pulverized on the grill until all the juice was out of it and then thrown inthe microwave just to make sure it was bone dry. Had my friend's wings and they were the top 3 worst wings I have ever tried.They were also extremely dry and lacked flavor. The honey garlic sauce on the side instantly made my stomach nauseous. Overall,it's not a bad pub space and the waitress did a great job. That's the only reason I didn't give it a 1 star. I haven't eatenhere in a few years but I don't recall the food being this bad. The menu was very simple and hard to not screw up. I feel theonly way for them to succeed is to hire a new chef or retrain them. There is a lot of competition in this area and it wouldn'ttake much effort to change this food from a fail to a pass. Read more
The service was good. The food so so. My fries were almost burnt. The meal was half a rack of ribs. My husband had a club house... sandwich. The sandwhich was hard. He had mashed potatoes instead of fries. The booth behind us, i heard the male say his foodwas excellent. We went Friday night Feb 28 around 7 the place was not very busy. I will try again. Lived in the area for many years and drove by this place regularly without knowing what it was all about. Finally dropped in for... burger week after trying a couple other places out beforehand. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was quite good, prices forquality were reasonable, and service was prompt. We'll definitely be back. Finally had a chance to return and likely won't beback. Service was exceptionally slow (it wasn't busy), we had to flag down staff for water because patiently waiting wasn'tworking, food prices were very high for the quality and quantity received. Even though it looks 'okay', it was barely that. We went on a promo day for free rib dinner but... Both the salad and the pasta... were oily and very uninspiring. The ribs were barely ok. Fries were not hot. The staff was fine enough but the glaring lightscouldn't be dimmed. It wasn't packed but service was not fast. That's okay but... It's a big noisy bar. The beer was averageprice but not cheap enough to drink enough to feel like the free meal was worth what we got. Read more
This used to be one of my favourite places to go in Bayer's Lake but I am incredibly disappointed with how it is now. First... off, they took the banana off of the peanut butter burger, which was the best part. The burger was about 2/3 the size they usedto be and in a lower quality bun. The burger was also undercooked. The fries were undercooked and inexplicably not seasoned. Atall. Our server took so long to get us napkins that we were finished eating when he returned (and the restaurant was not busy).Then, when the table next to us wanted ketchup, he reached over onto our table and took ours without even acknowledging us. Iwill now leave you with a photo of the frankly ridiculous amount of ice that was in the pop I ordered. Won't be back. Read more
