Great place to get hot pot in Halifax. Although the hot pot is not all you can eat, the price would be around the same for two... people but might be lower overall for more people. Easy paper ordering system where you check boxes based on what you want.$30.99 for basic broth and two meats. Waitress was very attentive with the broth as well as refilling the waters. Read more

Happy Veal Hot Pot is an amazing well established hot pot restaurant with so much more to offer. Thursday night is also Bbq... night with a vast array of mouthwatering delicacies. The Chef is well versed in authentic cuisine and the array of hot potofferings fills the menu. If in doubt, ask the Hostess and wait staff for help. But no matter what you order, you cannot gowrong with your choices. Even if you only visit Halifax for a day, Happy Veal Hot Pot is a " must stop " to experience the bestdining experience in Nova Scotia. Read more
Nice decor, waitress was nice, but overpriced for the quality of the meat. A few suggestions would be to walk new customers to a... Hot Pot Experience through how things work, how much each portion should look like when ordering certain items for your hot pot,and perhaps a better layout to the menu. The font was very small and hard to follow. Perhaps the quantity, or at least theapproximate quantity, of each item should be listed as well. Other than that, the food was alright for our first experience andthe waitress did help with any questions we had and was very patient with us first timers. Read more
