Ahmed was amazing, we went there in a small group the day before our wedding and he served us deftly, matched the energy of the... table and felt like an old friend to us all. When he heard we were getting married he declared we were having shots andcongratulations! We were staying at the Hotel Halifax so we caught him the next day on our way home and he said he had calledour venue to check that we were having a great time and he had been thinking about how I said I was allergic to alcohol and somethings I could try. I've never felt that a server actually was invested in what we had to say before that day, but it reallyfelt like he was genuinely celebrating with us even when we came by the next day. This isn't your ordinary hotel restaurant! It's actually fire, the fish and chips were perfection, reasonably priced and a huge... portion. Staff were super friendly and sweet.
