Shish kabob > chicken was good ( container is almost 8 inch diameter) the chicken pieces sizes are lame ???? taste like... 6.5/10 Rice they use 6/10 probably some cheap quality brown grain( tasted like it ) , on the up side extra skewer costed me1.5 so not bad at all Falafel > probably they have roo be fried like 4 times before like breaded and fried again, they mightlook decent in the picture but they were not edible. And pita , store bought nothing special Salad is good , This meal was madeat 1 hr before closing , Uhh that's it , Their chicken shawarma plate is better but not amazing. Not just one person is to blame, it's the whole restaurant, cook, trainer, hiring manager, and owner. Overall for this meal 4/10 , go for McDonald's or somefast food chain , they will get you same food almost every time Read more
Honestly mezza has gotten me through a lot. The shawarma poutine and mixed shawarma plates are such a good bang for your buck.... If you want a giant bowl of of tasty chicken and donaire meat, fries, and sauces, this is your place Read more
I got the chicken souvlaki plate with Greek salad and rice. The chicken was okay, a bit peppery for my liking. The rice and... salad were very good, but the rice had some hard pieces that got stuck in my teeth and were painful to remove. Ive been told itsserved like that on purpose though and it was not undercooked. The unfortunate part was there were a lot of flies aroundbothering me while I ate. I was very much impressed with the look of the shop and the details I read about the food chain when I googled for middle... eastern food and paid a visit early today. I felt with an okay experience with a satisfactory experience, nothing but justanother Shawarma shop. The meat in the mixed grill though it's priced to the higher edge came dry along with the crispy fries.The portion is also satisfactory as it can't justify the price. The only thing in the mixed grill was well cooked was thechicken soulavaki skewer. The staff need to be more pleasant face and greet as they come in to claim "Eat like you're a Family" Read more
Mixed grill was amazing! The gyro and chicken were tasty, juicy, and moist.
We were planning on going to Johnny K's up the street, but it had closed permanently and a sign on the door suggested coming... here, their "sister" location. The location was clean and well put together. The staff were actually pretty curt andunfriendly. The food was just "ok". There were sparse accompaniments like tomatoes and onions and whatnot, but it was like theyforgot to add the extras (just seemed to be 99% donair meat in the wrap), and not enough sauce so the flavors weren't balanced. It was my first time to have Lebanese food in Halifax. The quality of the food was great with fresh ingredients properly mixed... up and combined. The only problem is that it?s always hard to find a paring lot nearby, but it?s worth it. Read more
The Shawarma bowl I ordered was stale, shawarma was just like chewy plastic and lettuce was kind of a week old.
