The Steak and Stein did not have my Holy Trinity of eating out: The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the steak was the most... inconsistently cooked over I've ever had and the prices were high enough to warrant receiving a perfect meal... I enjoyed theservice as our waitress was pleasant, helpful and attentive. Alas my bun was dry and my steak raw at one end and fully cookedat the other. Don?t come here. The steak ( if you can call it that) is like a pice of shoe leather. I wouldn?t feed it to my dog. I expected... better steak from an actual STEAKHOUSE. Also they microwave their food. That explains it. Don?t be fooled by the pictures ontheir website. Read more

This restaurant brings back memories of living in Halifax. We ordered the 7oz. Pan-Fried Haddock (2 @13.00) Seafood Chowder-... BOWL Single Del Monico Steak We ordered the Friday special - pan fried. Haddock. The fish had a mildly sweet taste with atexture that was firm yet tender. The chowder was delicious. A bit on the salty side but paired nicely with the dinnerrolls. Very nice restaurant for families or small party. We went there yesterday and there were two group of people celebrate their... birthday party in the restaurant. And especially they have daily specials, compare to other steak house, the price is veryreasonable. I would high recommend this place to eat and have fun! Read more

I wanted a greasy breakfast... I got one! Lol I got a breakfast skillet. It was a little heavy for me but tasted pretty good! My... friend is celiac and they had many options for her and could completely accommodate, which was nice. 2 happy customers. ????
