Do NOT step foot in this subway!! I ordered a green goddess today and the workers there must have spread tuberculosis all over... my oven roasted chicken because after finishing my foot long I had a leakage in my pants. Full eruption ???? I have never spewedso much in my life, the cafeteria was filled with the reek of my green goddess gushing diarrhea. If you smelled that I?m sorrybut it was subways fault not mine. The chicken teriyaki sub that I got was so soggy it actually made the bread fall apart while I was eating it, the chicken was... cold and to top it all off they hardly gave me any chipotle sauce which could?ve saved the sandwich. Worst subway experience Ihave ever had. Sigh. I felt nauseous for the rest of the day. Read more

Every subway in Canada has a veggie mighty melt... I asked for one and the employee said sure no problem, they when it was made... and I went to pay they put it in as a 6 inch veggie on chabata bread. If you have ever eaten a mighty melt it's like half thesize of a 6inch so I asked if they could charge me for the mighty melt not a six inch, and they said no we don't have veggiemighty melts, and said I would have to pay for a six inch even though that's not what I got. Rustic, uber-chic Italian sandwich bistro. Service was impeccable, felt like I was back in Rome! Favorite spot to take out of... town friends to give them a taste of authentic Italy right in the heart of Halifax. Terrible experience. Went last night and there were three staff, and they actually argued over who would take care of me. Place... was a mess as well. To top it off I had to explain to them their own special (they tried to overcharge me) and they didn?t letme choose my bread (the person making my sandwich just chose white bread without asking). When my sandwich was finished theyoung guy just wrapped it up and walked away. I had to reach behind the counter to get it. Nobody asked if I wanted a bag, orgave me napkins, or asked if I wanted a drink or anything like that. Holy S@$T, these guys were rude. Btw the guy in front of meagreed, as he apparently had an even worse time than I did. Won?t be back. Read more

If you want a fast sub PLEASE AVOID this location, approx waiting time 20 minutes. Super slow staff! I had to ask for double... spinach because they guy that was prep my sub just put 4 leaves when in other locations they give a handful! Read more

I only really have experience with this Subway location during the summer season when things at the University are much quieter... than usual. My issue with this restaurant isn't the quality of the food or service (both which are fast, efficient andfriendly), but the fact that the hours are so inconvenient. Maybe it's just because of the summer, but the library stays openmuch later than the Subway and is right next door, so one would think they would stay open a bit later. They also open quitelate in the morning. I got a nice salad though, which wasn't slimy like I've recently had at some other Subway restaurants. Read more
